Chapter 11
dinner
Lilly P.O.V
I was woken up to someone kissing me very lightly on the lips and I nearly jumped out of my skin. When I jumped I hit head with that person. When I opened my eyes everything was blurry but I fixed it’s self after a minute and when it did I saw Trent holding his head.
“Sorry you startled me. Are you ok?” I apologized
“It ok I’ve had worse but you have a very hard head. I was just waking you up because it time for dinner.” I smelled this sweet like honey suckles mixed in with a woodsy smell.
“What that smell” I asked Trent while taking a deep breath.
“It’s you.” He said and when I looked confused “your sent is stronger now that you are pregnant than it was before you have always smelled that way.” He told me with a smile.
“So I always smelled this good?”
“Yep. Now let’s go get you some of that delicious smelling food you helped make.”
“all I did was cut up something’s. so that is all beths doing” I told him.
“it doesn’t matter if most of it was beth doing in I will love it because my wonderful loving mate helped fix it.” I couldn’t help but smile. He is so cute sometimes and I don’t think he knows it. We went down stairs and I saw the two that helped with my rescue. I think their names were Dylan and Eric.
“Lilly I would like you to meet my second and third in command Dylan and Eric. They both bowed there heads a little.” I was right. I’m so smart I thought to myself.
“No need to bow I’m just human too.” When they started laughing I was puzzled but then I realized that I said human And I blushed.
“Opps, I meant wolf. I maybe Luna but I’m still a person so there is no need to bow to me.”
“Yes Luna.” They both said at the same time.
I liked the sound of them calling me Luna it made me feel special. We all set down and that when I noticed that there was a lot of people in the dining room which look more like a ball room. There where kid there from really small to teenagers and there where also parents with them. When everyone settled down we said grace and ate the lovely stew and the cornbread beth made. Dinner went really well everybody seemed happy to meet me and nobody said anything about my scent. After dinner a woman came up and jumped in Trent arms.
“TRENT! I missed you. You never hang out with me anymore. Do you want to hang out tonight we could have loads of fun like we use to.” She said seductively. She was dressed in a dress that barely covered her ass and was pulled down so far that you could literally see her boobs. When she said the stuff about “having fun” my wolf and I wimped. I should have known that Trent would have had girlfriends before meeting me but it still hurt me. I turned around and ran upstairs to my room. I could hear Trent yelling at the woman but I didn’t care. When I got to the room I slammed the door shut. And couple minutes later there was a knock at the door and by the sent it wasn’t Trent.
“Come in” I said and the door opened and there was Eric.
“Hey are you ok?” he asked quietly.
“yah it just hurt to think of him with someone else.” I told him. I don’t know why I’m talking to him it just feels right.
“Trent not a bad guy he was never in a relationship with her. He got drunk one night and had a slip up and you shouldn’t be too mad at him because ever since jess’s mate was killed she has been throwing herself at any male wolf mated or not. She was never like that when Jeff was around. She used to be nice, sweet and caring but when she lost Jeff she went nuts.” He told me. After I thought about it for a couple of minutes it made since that she would go crazy after her mate died. I mean when I was taken from Trent it hurt so bad not to be near him so I can’t imagine what it would be like if he died.
“how did her mate die?” I asked
“A bunch of rouges can in our territory and they happen to stumble upon Jeff and jess having a picnic. They slowly tortured Jeff in front of jess and when he died jess went crazy she had most of them killed when we finally arrive and she never been the same since.”
“That horrid” I was so sad. How could anyone get over that? I just wanted to help her but I didn’t know how. I went down stair where Trent was sitting looking so sad.
“where is jess?” I asked him
“Down in the cells why?”
“why is she in the cells?” I was getting angry.
“Because she disrespected her Luna.”
“Let her out Trent. Now!” I said with such a harsh tone. I couldn’t believe my voice sounded like that.
“I don’t think that would be a good idea right now.” He said worriedly. I looked at Eric.
“where are the cells?” I demanded. I had so much power in my voice that he looked down.
“In the basement” he told me. I went down with him and Trent following me. I made everyone I passed open the door for me to go through. When I finally reached the cells I saw her on the ground unconscious.
“What happened to her” I yelled.
“She wouldn’t let go of Trent and started trying to claw us so we had to knock her out.” Said Dylan.
“Pick her up and take her to the clinic. You are to tell me when she wakes up and you are to be nothing but nice to her.” I told Dylan. “do you understand?” I demanded
“Yes Luna” he said with his head bowed. He picked her up and walked off with her. All of the sudden I was extremely tired and fell to the ground. Trent came over and picked me up. I was still mad at them for doing that to here but being in Trent arms surrounded by warmth all my anger melted away.
“Kitten you shouldn’t get that worked up you could hurt the baby.” He whispered in my ear.
“I know I don’t know why I did that. I’m sorry; it was like I was protecting her.” I told him.
“It because you Luna you have a connection to the pack and the more you around them the more you will feel what they feel and be more protective.” He told me with a huge smile.
“Oh ok’’ he laid me down in our bed and tucked me in and lay beside me. He had his arms around me. I was getting use to him be around me. So I snuggle up to him and fell asleep.
