Lilly’s P.O.V
A couple months latter we still didn’t have another vase incident and I was starting to feel like it was a dream. Trent hadn’t said a word about it and I didn’t what to bring it up because it was just too freaky to mention. I felt so fat because I took up most of the hallway when I would walk down them. I knew it was because of the twins but I was so tired of feeling huge. Don’t get me wrong I loved the fact that they where growing healthy. I have just started to feel them move. Trent was amazed when we where laying down one night and had his hand on my stomach when one of them kicked. He was about asleep when it happened and he jumped so far he feel of the bed. When I peered of the bed I could help but let out a laugh which came out as a bark. He looked so hysterical with his hair sticking up the entire place and the look of confusion on his face. When he came back up he put his hand back on my stomach again and one of them kicked again. He spent a couple hours feeling them move until I threaten the bite his hand off.
As the time progressed I started feeling more aggressive. I felt like I was becoming more wolf like more and more every day. I would apologize because I felt bad for snapping at people. So I started hiding it rooms away from people or spending my time outside watch the kid play on the play ground. It was completely safe for me to be out in plain view because I learned that there was no human that where aloud though the front gates and the one that did where mates of some of the pack members.
Surprising the children and Trent would be the only one I wouldn’t snap at. So I spent most of my day playing outside with half children then would be greeted after school the other half would greet me. I was very protective of the children and everybody found out when Shane had a accident by falling of the monkey bars. Shane is a four year old. When he falls off them my heart almost stopped I raced over to him just to find him crying and holding his arm. I started licking him all over to comfort him. When some of the adult came over I stood over him protectively and growled a warning. They stepped back and I continued to lick him until he was laughing then took him to the doctor. Jack gave him a complete bill of heath saying he was fine but his shoulder should have been broken but there was no break. He was confused by it but with the hour Shane was playing again. Needless to say after the accident the parent trusted me with there children some of them more than themselves, Mostly because I was so protective of them.
Every week me and Trent will go to the doctor and get an ultra sound. Every week both of them were completely healthy and they where getting so big jack said the he might have to due induced labor because of them being so big. I just about bite jack head off for saying that. No one is going to touch my baby before they were ready to make an appearance. Jack lucky Trent was there or he would the one needing a doctor.
I’m currently two month away from my due date. I quit going to jack two week ago because of what he said. Right now I’m lying in the sun enjoying the warmth watching the kid. A smell waffles to me. I can place them smell but i know I’ve smelled to somewhere. I take a leap up from where I was when I finally placed the smell.
“Everybody get to the play ground rouges are here.” I screamed though the mind link. I heard serve growl reply back to me. I start barking at the kid because they are to young to have the mind link yet but some of the older one know something wrong and start gathering up the younger ones. I could see fear in there eyes witch pisses me off no child should ever have to be afraid.
The rouges step out of the woods my pack starts to gather around me. So a fight breaks out and I make sure the kids are safe before I take on a wolf. Soon all of the pack is here and the rouges are quickly outnumbered.
After the last rouge is killed I take a look around some of the pack member are dead and some are severely wounded. I start wishing I could help them. Somehow heal them and that’s when the almost amazed happened. They start healing at a very fast speed. I feel the energy seep out of me into them. I soon fall to the ground severely tired. I just want to fall asleep but before I fall asleep I hear Trent yell “noooo...” and I let darkness take me.
Trent p.o.v
I was sitting in my office watching Lilly sun bath while watching the kids. Her lately she has been going all mama wolf puns intended. She want let anyone hurt the kid and if one of them is hurt she want let anyone near them until she deemed appropriate. She going to be a great mother but I’m still worried about how much her wolf is in control. The incident with Shane opened my eyes to how much her wolf is in control but I have to admit it was really impressive on how much she was protective of the kid. Every pack member is completely alright with how protective she is because most of them feel like she can take care of them more.
I love watching her in her wolf form because of the way her fur sways in the breeze she look quite magical if you ask me. Most of the time she even play with the kid but here lately she not been able because she is so big and not in a bad way either. Sometime I find myself jealous of the fact that it’s not my children growing in her belly but I have to stop myself because I know it not her fault but it still hurts.
All of the sudden I see her tense up, jump to her feet and run towards the kids. I’m already out of the office before I hear her yell through the mind link “Everybody get to the playground rouges are here.” And after I hear that I pick up speed. I’m one of the first to show up as a group of rouges walk out into the open. I look to my side and my mate getting the kid out of the way. “Now we can focuses because our mate out of harm’s way” says my wolf and I have to agree with him. I jump at the first rouge as I change in to my wolf form. I quickly bite his neck and shack snapping his neck like a twig. I’m very pissed off “how the hell did they make it into are border this far with no one knowing???” I yelled through the link to Eric and Dylan. “Smell them they have no sent they must have taken something to mask there sent” Replied Eric. I sniffed the air and saw he was right “how did Lilly know they were there then “I wondered to myself. “Are mate is special” says my wolf as a gray wolf about got my neck. I quit letting my mid wonder and make quick work of finishing of the last few rouges.
after the last one was killed I take a look around trying to find my mate. When I spot her my wolf cries out because she looks like she is crying because of the sight around her. All of the sudden here mark on her head starts to glow and I feel a wave of energy surround the battle ground. As I look around I see my pack member start healing and some even coming back to life. I stand there in amazement looking at my mate somehow I know she is the reason life are being saved. Then she starts to sway and before I can get to her she fall unconscious and I yell out “noooooooo…’ before I feel her presents grow weak.
