Wednesday, December 16th
Your plane landed at about 2:00 in the afternoon. You gathered your carry on bags and walked off the plane. You went over to baggage claim and grabbed your bags. Adam and Max were supposed to be picking you up in 5 minutes. You walked over to a waiting area near the entrance and sat down, and began to text Adam.
(Y: You. A: Adam)
Y: Hey, just got off the plane. I'm waiting near the entrance.
A: Ok, I'm parking right now.
Y: Cool, I see you guys.
You looked up and saw two men walking towards you. You stood up and walked towards them, mainly towards Adam. You ran up to him and hugged him tightly. You noticed Max was standing next to you, not paying any attention to what was happening. "Y/n! I haven't seen you in the forever! How've you and your mom been?" He asked. "Hey Adam! We've been great, how've you been?" You asked, letting go of him. "Glad to hear you and your mom are well. As for me, I feel amazing reuniting with an old friend!" He seemed extremely happy. You looked over at Max, who was looking at you. "Oh, and this is Max, one of the editors." Adam said. You smiled and shook his hand. "Hey there, Max! I'm Y/n, it's nice to meet you!" You said. "Nice to meet you too..." He mumbled, looking at the floor. "He's a shy type of guy, especially around new people. Also, he really hates people. Especially people who touch him. He also hates being touched." Adam leaned over and whispered to you. "Got it." You whispered back. "So, let's get going back to the office so you can meet the rest of the guys!" You and Max were lead by Adam to his car. Adam put your luggage in the back, as Max climbed into the backseat of the car, letting you ride in the front to catch up with Adam. "You can ride up here if you want, Max." You offered. "I'm ok." He shook his head and began to flip through his phone.
The ride to the office was fun. You and Adam discussed your lives to each other and how amazing everything has been, while Max sat in the back and said nothing.
