*Weeks later*

Isabel's POV:

Today the tour bus was stopping in this town so we were going on a little vacation type thing. I didn't think sleeping in a tent and getting devoured by mosquitoes was anything near a vacation, but I wasn't one to complain. We've gotten really close to girls from the band so we invited them along; it wouldn't be the same if we didn’t. Louis had cranked up the old van and drove us up to the site, in the car we all piled on top of each other because of little space.

"Can you drive any slower Louis!" Veronica said looking slightly uncomfortable; she was sitting on Eva's lap.

"Actually I can!" Louis screeched and the van started slowing down.

"I didn't mean it!" she stressed. We chuckled as he sped up again.
We arrived at the site and Liam helped me down and got some stuff out of the trunk. I was not an outdoorsy person so I didn't have any idea how to set up a tent. I tried though!

"Izzy, why don't you, um..." Liam said trying to find something else for me to do. I smiled.

"Am I that bad?!"
When everything was all set up we went down to the lake and swam around. Niall had been telling me earlier how he felt like this was couple's retreat because he's the only one without a girl, so I tried to make it more fun for everybody, but pretty much we all ended up just spending time with our boyfriends up here, even Kianna was spending time with Louis. Though Zayn and Alia obviously weren't romantic, they were lying on a towel just talking. Niall and Rosie were the only ones without someone to sit with so they awkwardly sat together. Liam and I were cuddled up on a blanket just taking in the scenery. I turned my attention toward Liam who had been staring up at the sky that started to turn a pink and orange glow as the sun set.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"Do you ever think of what we would do together after the tour, how our lives would be then." I stated silently. I felt his body shrug under me.

"I don't really think about it too much, I'm just happy that I finally have you and that's all that I think about." He replied with a smile across his face. How sweet. I closed my eyes and nodded.

"Good, because that's all I think about too." And then we lay there in silence watching the stars.

Kianna's POV:

It had been a while since Louis asked me to be his girlfriend; I mean we've been hanging out almost daily for a couple months. I was hesitant because of Eva. I know little about their history but they sort of dated for a while and it wouldn't feel right to date him when his feelings are still raw. So that's what I told Louis. He had said he admired that about me but I guessed that's what anybody would do. But that wasn't the only reason I wanted to wait.
I walked down the street, hands in my pockets and looking for a little bakery that I was supposed to meet someone in. I was meeting an old friend, more like an old romantic interest. He had a lot to apologize for if he wanted me back.
So that cold morning, I strolled into the bakery ordered a couple pies and sat down. I waited for him to come, and when he did he sat down.
He looked the same, slightly older though. He had those same brown eyes and dark hair that was always swept to the side and up. His lips curled up into a smile, and I remembered his soft lips.

"Hey, Anna." He said with his soft voice. He was the only one I had allowed to call me Anna.

"Collin." I said saluting him. He smiled and stared at me, like he was studying me, then finally he spoke up.

"Anna, you don't know how much I've missed you! You need to come back home, Anna." He stressed.

"Why would I go back with you? After all that you put me through? You cheated and lied and promised and never kept them and told me you would never let me go! Well, I left and you didn't care to get me." I said my voice slightly getting elevated. He looked at the tears that were forming threatening to fall but I didn't let them, I was stronger than that. His eyes were beginning to water too, he felt bad, I could tell.

"I know and it's been eating me alive! I'm so sorry, Anna, you're the best thing that has happened to me. I need you!" And for the first time I saw a tear slide down his face. Seeing him cry, made me want to cry more.

“I don't care what you say because it's too late; I've found someone who I know cares about me. And seeing you just confirms that you don't deserve me, and I deserve better. I know someone who can give me better." I said firmly. I looked at him one last time, and finally broke free of whatever I was carrying, and let it go. I walked out without another word.
