Louis's POV:
It had been a couple days since my date with Eva and I haven't heard from her, and neither have any of the guys. Veronica hasn't really been around either. Daily all the girls show up and just hang out around our house but I never really see Veronica. So I walked into the living room and saw Zayn and Arabela playing the Wii.
"Have you guys really seen Veronica?" I asked.
"Actually, no not for a while, why?" Zayn asked. I shrugged. I found Niall getting stuff from the pantry and I surprised him making him drop all his food.
"Oops. Well uh, have you seen Veronica?" I asked. He shook his head picking up his food.
"Let's go to her house, she probably knows where Eva has been too." I said pulling him along, he didn't protest.
We jumped in the car and headed over to her place. I ran up to the door and rang the doorbell. Her little sister answered the door.
"Hello! Is Veronica here?" I asked smiling. She was speechless I guess and just motioned for her room upstairs.
"Thanks!" Niall said and we hurried up the steps and Niall just opened the door without knocking. Bad idea. We walked in on her and some guy making out. Niall made a squeak and ran away down the stairs. Oh man.
"Oh no." Veronica said and she ran past me after Niall. I was just really confused. What was going on? Who was this kid?
"Um, hello." I said cautiously. He waves.
"So you are one of Veronica's famous friends, right? Well it's nice to finally meet you." He says reaching for a hug.
"If you don't mind me asking but um, who are you?" I questioned. He looked surprised.
"I'm Kaden, Veronica's boyfriend... she never told you about me?" he asked. I shook my head. He rolled his eyes.
"Well, if you see her, tell her to call me when she's not too embarrassed to tell her friends about me." He said storming out. Wow. That was a lot of information. I still had to talk to Veronica, so I went down the stairs looking for her. I found her in her living room looking for Niall.
"Hey." I said she waved.
"Where is Niall, we have to talk." She said.
"Did you check in the pantry?" I asked.
"Good idea!" she said walking toward her kitchen. I followed.
"Well, um you know, why didn't you ever tell us about...Kaden?" I asked she shrugged.
"I don't know, but you know now so be quiet." She said with a slight smile. We looked into the Pantry, not there.
"Have you seen Eva?" I asked.
She stopped and looked at me.
"No, she um went to live with her sister in L.A." she said quickly, almost like she didn't want me to hear.
"Wait, what?" I asked totally confused.
"She, moved away, just for a couple months, to um clear her mind. But I told her to stay." She said anxiously. I had to think for a moment. Clear her mind of what? Oh yeah... me. She probably left because of me; I mean she disappears right after our date.
"Oh." I say silently. She looks at me understandably.
"Well, um your boyfriend told me to tell you to call him when you are not embarrassed by him. And I'll see if I can find Niall at home, or he's in the car I'm his ride." I say quickly turning around and leaving before she sees the pain in my eyes.
