Rosie's POV:
I woke up in the guest bed where Eva and I slept and rolled out.
"Morning Rosie!" Eva cooed happily from the shower.
"Good Morning!" I called back. After her shower I took mine and came back into the empty guest room. I changed into an oversized grey sweater and burgundy jeans with toms I put my hair up in a messy bun and headed into the kitchen. I saw a hung over looking Niall shuffle through the room before disappearing down the hallway, and Arabela was sitting at the table with a coffee mug, I guess she came to visit Veronica. I waved to her and she just shot me a dirty look and turned around. I frowned.
"Ok that's it! Ever since I met you, you act like you hate me! What did I even do to you?" I ask fed up.
She scoffed. "Like you don't know."
"I don't! If you don't remember I have amnesia." I stated sitting across from her on the table. She laughed a short hard laugh.
"Harry didn't tell you? Of course!"
"What? What didn't he tell me?"
"Oh nothing, just that he cheated on me with you. And you and I were friends." She said with a slight smile. She got up and walked away before I could respond. We had something? Harry and I? My head started spinning as I racked my brain trying my hardest to remember anything. Just than Harry strolled into the room.
"Good morning love!" he greeted me joyfully before sitting down and studying my face. "What are you thinking about?" He asked. I knit my eyebrows together.
"Arabela...she um...just told me that you and me... that you cheated on her with me." I stuttered. I watched as his face turned gravely. My head was really spinning. Then for a brief second, one image passed my mind. It was me in a record shop talking with Harry... I was crying.
"We..." my vision started to get hazy.
"Rosie! Are you okay?" Then everything went black.
Harry's POV:
Rosie's eyes flickered open as I got up from my seat.
"What happened?" she asked. "You fainted. The doctor said it happened because you were overwhelmed. You learned some new stuff I guess." I said sighing. She smiled slightly and I sat back down.
"Oh yeah... I remembered the record store."
"Look Rosie, I'm sorry that I didn't tell you about us earlier I... I just didn't want to ruin what we had newly." I pleaded looking down at my feet she didn't reply. "Please don't be mad at me! I-"
"How could I be mad at you? You saved me! I mean, you make me happy." She said softly. Her eyes were glassy as she said this. I couldn't read her emotions.
"You make me happy too, Rosie. So happy." I whispered walking over to her bedside. She flashed me a weak smile. I kissed her on the forehead. "If you want, I'll tell you everything that happened since we met. And I won't leave anything out this time." I said smiling.
"That would be helpful." She replied with a grin. The doctor walked in and told us she was free to go now that she was okay again. All the way home I had one hand on the steering wheel and the other was holding her hand. Maybe just maybe I could have her again. We walked into the house to find it empty. There was a note on the door. ______________________________________________________
Went to the movies with Niall and Eva. See you later! - From Veronica!
_______________________________________________________ That meant we had the house to ourselves again. I looked at Rosie and flashed her a devilish smile before scampering into the house. We rummaged around looking for snacks and we accumulated all the blankets we could find and huddled up on the living room floor.
"You can pick the movie!" I said grinning.
"We should watch Harry Potter. You know, because we're British." She replied. I laughed and nodded putting in one of them. I put my arms around her as we watched the movie in silence and when it ended she looked at me with a small smile. "Ok, it's time for you to tell me everything about us." She stated sitting up. I took a deep breath and sat cross-legged across from her.
"So, um ok. From the beginning, right ok. When I first saw you, I was still in love with Arabela, but when I first saw you I forgot about her. At the end of that party I asked you for your number and you gave me a fake one." I said chucking. She laughed.
"Sounds like something I would do." She said looking down.
I smirked. "Yeah well I got your number from Alia and I called you the next day and we all hung out around the bus and around town. After a couple weeks of hanging out I wanted to hang out with you alone. So we went to the mall." I continued smiling.
"That's why you took me to the mall! Did we do all those things?" she said beaming.
I nodded. "Yup and after that I knew that the way I liked you was more than a friend and I felt like telling you right then and there and you knew exactly what I was thinking and you kissed me." She blushed.
"We just kept seeing each other in secret and I never broke up with Arabela and you hated me for it. You really wanted me to end it but at the time I wasn't sure. You got fed up and ended it between us and Arabela found out about us because a picture of us kissing at the mall was on the cover of some magazine and she saw it." I informed her. She looked surprised as I continued feeling crap about going over what happened again. "Then we were separated for a while and your job was in jeopardy because of me. Then I couldn't take the guilt so I went to find you. I found you at a record shop. And we talked and I told you for the first time that I loved you." I finished. She looked with her brilliant eyes for a while before responding.
"Oh. Well do you still love me like the way you did?" she asked softly.
"Of course I do. I always have but I never was able to admit it. But now I know for a fact that I love you. And I want to do this right." I responded. I grabbed her hand and I felt the goose bumps rise where our skin touched. She gasped slightly and looked up. "I know you're lost right now, but I can help you find yourself again. Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked sincerely. Her eyes twinkled as she thought. I couldn't wait any longer. "If it's a no that you can just-"I started. But she interrupted me by pulling me in and kissing me passionately. When we pulled apart she looked at me and smiled. "So is that a yes?" I asked smirking. "What do you think?" she replied smiling as I pulled her into a hug.
