It was a great day to be out on the town. Or technically, Shizumo City. The air was crisp and cool but the sun was shining, creating the perfect "warmth."

Saruhiko and Misaki were each holding one of Hana's hand as they walked along the paved sidewalk on their way to the grocery store.

They stopped along the way to buy Hana a crepe from the crepe stand in the park closest to them, which reminded both Misaki and Saruhiko of their pre-HOMRA days.

Hana was happily munching away at the crepe where Miskai would occasionally wipe the vanilla cream off Hana's face with the brown, "complimentary" napkin.

Once Hana was done with her sugar filled sweet treat, Misaki and Saru guided her to a "clean" family bathroom in the park where she could wash her hands. After finishing up in the bathroom, they were honing in on the grocery store and alas, they had made it.

Upon walking in, Misaki grabbed a cart, for they needed a lot of things, and officially walked into the store. Misaki handed Saruhiko a second copy of the grocery list that was on a piece of notepad paper and told him,

"Um, let's see..., you go get the cold cuts and I'll get the fruits and vegetables. Is that okay?" Misaki said as he was placing Hana in the cart.

"Yeah, which cold cuts do you want?"

"Hm..., roast beef, ham, and turkey."

"Okay, on it."

Giving one last kiss to Misaki on his lips and a last kiss to Hana's cheek, Saruhiko set off to get the cold cuts at the deli.

On the other hand, Misaki went on his way to the produce section, pushing the cart with Hana inside, slightly embarrassed at Saruhiko's bold move to kiss him in front of everybody.

Anyway, the first thing Misaki grabbed when he reached the produce, was of course, a pineapple. Two in fact, for pineapples were an essential for the family of three. The next thing he grabbed was another bag of rice, just to make sure. After that, he threw baby carrots, spinach, potatoes, mushrooms, chives, garlic, onions, tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce, and pretty much everything in the produce section, into the cart. Once again, Misaki's healthy side was showing, a lot.

For Saruhiko, he was unfortunately stuck with a bad attitude, slow as molasses, deli worker.

Saruhiko swore he was up to here with that woman.

Saru asked if she could hurry in the nice way, but no, she went and made a scene about how she's the only person here and how that's as fast as she can go.

Once she was finally done with the cold cuts, Saruhiko snatched them out of her grotesque hands and shot her the dirtiest look he could manage and snorted in anger.

Misaki and Saruhiko met up with each other in the aisle where the cereal and granola bars were, where Misaki claimed he was almost done while grabbing some Fruit Loops and Cheerios. The only things left was getting Hana's school supplies.

"I'll go get them," elicited Saru.

"Okay, take Hana with you so she can pick out what she likes."

With that Saruhiko picked Hana up from the cart and carried her to the stationary aisle.

Once there, Hana immediately squealed at the sight of a Disney princess themed lunch box and backpack. Saruhiko picked both up despite the price, he loved to spoil his daughter.

Since Hana's favorite color was purple, lavender specifically, he picked up her preferred colored composition notebook and a pack of number two pencils before heading back to Misaki.

Saruhiko and Hana found Misaki near the cashier, checking over the grocery list to make sure they got everything. Saruhiko placed the items into the cart and gave Misaki a greeting kiss.

"S-s-stop doing that!" Misaki yelled blushing.

"Tch, why should I? You're mine after all," Saru said with a hint of confidence while raising his eyebrows slightly and smirking smugly.

"Humph, whatever, let's just pay."

And so they did, finally getting the groceries they needed to buy out of the way.

Once they were out of the overwhelming store, Hana had a request.

"Do you think we can get another crepe?"
