Chapter Twelve: Teatimes and Talks

The door clicked opened, thus signaling Saruhiko was home.

It might've only been 7:32 at night, but that was pretty good time considering how much paperwork Saruhiko was given by Awashima, a.k.a, the heartless woman. Thankfully Munakata had lessened his load, for he understood that Saruhiko now had a family to care for. The blue King could sympathize with his third in command for he did also have a family of his own.

Anywho, the minute Saruhiko walked through the front door Hana practically glomped on him.

"PapaSaru!," Hana yelled happily while hugging Saruhiko tight.

"Yes, yes, I'm home Hana," he responded while hugging Hana back and giving her a quick peck on the tip of her nose.

Hana giggled in response and ran off to get Misaki, who was currently doing laundry, to point out that his beloved was home. At Hana's statement, Misaki poked his head out of the laundry room to gaze at Saruhiko.

"Saruhiko! Welcome back!," Misaki said with a smile while exiting the room to make his way towards Saru with a basket of clean smelling, already folded clothes.

Once he was face to face with Saruhiko, he placed the basket down.

"You wouldn't believe who I saw when I picked up Hana today!," Misaki said as Saruhiko brought him in for a hug and a couple of sweet kisses.

"Hm?," Saruhiko hummed in acknowledgment.

"It was the blue King or technically your boss!," Misaki said quite excitedly while extending his sentence,
"I never even would've guessed he was dating someone! Nonetheless have a child with whomever they were!"

"A child?"

Misaki nodded his head vigorously, "yes, a little boy that went by the name of...Hana! What was your friend's name?"

"Friend? Oh you mean Shō-chan!"

"Yeah that's his name, Shō!"

Saruhiko processed this information for a moment, he wasn't very happy that this Shō was a boy, but Saru ultimately decided that this was beneficial to Saruhiko and Misaki. Saruhiko then realized he was thinking out loud.

"Beneficial? How?," inquired Misaki.
"A-ah, well I was thinking, preferably this Saturday, we could go on a date, have a little alone time, I mean it has been awhile," Saruhiko said while grasping Misaki's hands and looking down to gaze into Misaki's eyes.

Misaki blushed furiously at this and gulped before he spoke.

"S-so you're thinking of having the blue King babysit Hana?"

"Mhm. Hana would obviously be fine with it since it's kinda like a play date for her and this Shō kid."

"True, well then I guess it's fine then as long as the blue King allows it," Misaki said with a blush still visible on his cheeks for the thought of having some "alone time" with Saru still lingered.

Saruhiko, who placed a kiss on Misaki's temple, then proceeded to call Munakata on his PDA to discuss the details of Saturday for Munakata had happily agreed to Saruhiko's preposition almost immediately after hearing about the idea of Shō and Hana to have a play date. It seemed Shō and Hana we're quite fond of each other.

After Saruhiko was done talking with Munakata, Saruhiko went to go take a shower. As Saruhiko was making his way towards the bathroom, he just couldn't resist the urge to tease Misaki this time.

"Mi~sa~ki, I'm going to take a shower, you're welcome to join me you know~"

Misaki, with his tomato face, yelled out, "Shut up you shitty monkey!!!"

Saruhiko laughed at Misaki's antics and proceeded to take a quick shower. Once he was finished in the shower, Saru found Misaki and Hana spooning on the couch. The sight was truly adorable as Hana was already starting to drift to sleep as Misaki was supposedly "resting his eyes" while holding onto a cup of tea that was about to fall over and spill.
Grabbing the cup of tea and placing it on their dark wood coffee table, Saruhiko crouched down and brushed a couple of stands of ginger hair out of Misaki's face. In that moment, Saruhiko thought,

"Man, I can't wait till Saturday."
