Once Saruhiko and Misaki left each other's embrace and parted ways with the kitchen, they went to join Hana on the couch, who crawled into Misaki's lap, for Hana deemed him as a great cushion.

Once Hana was situated in Misaki's lap, Saruhiko sat himself right next to Misaki so he could wrap an arm around his shoulders and kiss the top of his head from time to time while holding one of Hana's tiny, fair skinned, hands.

Saruhiko and Misaki disregarded the movie completely, for they've seen the movie hundreds of times. Instead they were reveling in each other's presence and staring into each other's eyes. Before Saruhiko could lean down to capture Misaki's lips, they were interrupted with soft snoring.

The duo looked down to see their daughter had fallen asleep despite there being a Disney movie on.

"I'm going to go put her to bed," uttered Misaki quite softly before he worked up his courage to give a small peck on Saruhiko's cheek.

Saruhiko sat there a bit dazed for a moment, for Misaki never makes a move like that. But Saruhiko just shook his head and proceeded to put the Disney movie DVDs in their respectful cases.

Popping out the current movie that was playing from the DVD player, Saruhiko heard soft singing. Saru decided to finish up quickly for he knew what it was. It was Misaki singing Hana a lullaby for her to go to sleep. Quiet steps making its way towards Hana's room, Saru could now hear the lyrics better as he stood at Hana's room's doorway.

ねんねんころりよ おころりよ。 Nennen korori yo, Okorori yo. Hushabye, Hushabye!

ぼうやはよい子だ ねんねしな。 Bōya wa yoi ko da, Nenne shina~ My good Baby, Sleep!

ぼうやのお守りは どこへ行った。Bōya no omori wa, Doko e itta? Where did my boy's baby-sitter go?

あの山こえて 里へ行った。 Ano yama koete, Sato e itta. Beyond that mountain, back to her home.

里のみやげに 何もろうた。 Sato no miyage ni, Nani morotta? As a souvenir from her home, what did you get?

でんでん太鼓に 笙の笛。 Denden taiko ni, Shō no fue. A toy drum and a shō flute.

Saruhiko smiled fondly at Misaki's caring personality. Even though he's quite the violent person when it comes to HOMRA, when it comes to children, especially his own child, Misaki's kind and caring side shone through despite everything.

After Misaki gently placed Hana down in her bed, trying to get her to not wake up, and covered her with a Disney blanket, he exited the room and closed the door softly, only to be bombarded by Saruhiko with a giant, loving hug and tons of kisses.

"Saruhiko! W-what are you doing?"

"Ah you're so adorable Mi~sa~ki. It's so cute when you sing," Saruhiko mused while nuzzling and kissing the crook of Misaki's neck.

"Saru, give me a little space!," hissed Misaki as he tried to pull away slightly.

But hence tried, for he did not succeed. The reason why his attempt had failed, was for Saruhiko picked him up, forcing Misaki to wrap his legs around his waist before he carried him to their room, still nipping at Misaki's lips.
Once they reached their bedroom, Saruhiko gently placed Misaki on their neatly made futon and proceeded to press kisses on every inch of Misaki.

"Ngh, Saru," a sweet kiss, "stop, Hana will," three more kisses, "will hear."

Several more kisses came after that and several more were on its way, Saruhiko just couldn't resist his Misaki today.

Ah, that truly was a great way to end the day.
