A/N: I'm all for this AU where Saru is an ace and enjoys solely cuddling and holding hands with Misaki, and Yata loves it too ♡

Yata Misaki has been Saruhiko's warmth, happiness, and sunshine since the two first met in middle school. Not that he'd cared to admit, but being surrounded by Misaki's presence never made him feel more at home. After years of struggling with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and insomnia, which are all onslaught disorders of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), no thanks to his beast of a father, Fushimi Niki, the simplest intertwining of their fingers or gentle hugs would set Fushimi's raging mind at peace. Whenever nightmares plagued his sleep in the dead of the night, it was nothing that snuggling into the crook of Misaki's neck or cuddling up to his chest couldn't fix. Even outside of Saruhiko's mental troubles, the two enjoyed nothing more than grasping each other's hands on walks, dinners, and missions together.

Whilst watching movies in their shared apartment, the two would cuddle, having each other's arms wrapped around the other with Fushimi's head resting atop of Yata's, occasionally pressing the softest of kisses on one another with a warm blanket draped over them. These small gestures meant the world to Saruhiko. He was sure his ginger haired boyfriend would have 'needs' when they first started their romantic relationship but once discussing his predicament, Misaki was overjoyed. The swell of joy in the vanguard's heart by just being Saruhiko's boyfriend was enough for him,  nonetheless holding hands and sharing hugs with his dark haired partner.
No matter how much teasing Yata got from his friends at HOMRA for still being a virgin despite having a lover, the crow was perfectly happy and content with his relationship with Saruhiko.

The two were extremely happy at where they were in their lives together.
Simply holding hands lovingly in their lost small world. ♡
