Omega
We all stood there in shock as we tried to process what had just happened.
The ground below us had opened up to a large pit of fire. Not only that but Catherine went falling into it, it closing right behind her before we could even react.
After several moments, I looked up to see the demon holding a taunting smirk.
Her, or whatever it was, infuriated me. Her cockiness sent my blood to boil.
She chuckled noticing my frustration, which only sparked me up even more.
I clenched my fists, running at her like a bull. As I reached her, she teleported to the other side of the road, leaving me dazed and enraged.
As I prepared myself to go at her one more time, I was brought to a halt as the Alpha commanded me to stop.
I turned to look at him in confusion. As I did, I noticed his troubled expression. I could feel his desperation.
Catherine held great importance, and we had just lost her.
"Why? Where is Catherine? What have you done to her?" The Alpha asked frenzied at the demon.
She only stood there and chuckled like she was enjoying the Alpha's anguish.
This sent a growl from me which she took as a hilarious joke; she laughed in a crazed manner.
Until finally she brought herself down from her laughing, "Don't worry about it. We will whip her into shape and make sure she carries out her mission properly." She explained.
"What are you talking about?" The alpha asked in his tone of authority.
"We will make sure that her part of the prophecy is completed accordingly." She explained.
"We?" The alpha asked.
"Lucifer, the King of the Crossroads, and a few others." She stated
"Then what are you for?" The alpha asked yet again.
"I'm just here to deliver her. She's in our hands now, we will make sure everything happens like it's supposed to." She replied.
The Alpha nodded his head and turned around walking away, which appalled me.
Why would he turn away from this so easily?
"Alpha, what are you doing?" I asked running after him.
He didn't answer me, he simply kept walking until he hopped into the car.
The beta and I hopped in the car right after him, I was still looking at him with shock.
"We can't leave Catherine behind." I stated trying to get him to turn back.
As I waited for his reply, I looked out into the road and noticed that the crossroads demon was no longer there.
I scanned the whole area not finding a single trace of it. I then redirected my attention to the Alpha hoping it was not too late to make a deal and go after Catherine.
"We promised the coven that we would get them Fenrir, what about that?"
That triggered something in him, it seemed like he had forgotten all about the deal with the witches.
"It will all play out like it has to." The Alpha replied emotionless.
"So what? We're just going to let Catherine to rot in hell? You heard the demon, she said it was a one way ticket, she's not getting out."
