So a little bit ago, I was with my family making tamales. The date was December 20th, and we went for a walk. They live in San Pedro and we went for a stroll by the beach. It wasn't as fantastic as this picture I immediately became inspired by everything around me. I decided to share it with you. *muah*

I sat on a rock. A really bumpy and hard rock. With my sketchbook and charcoal pencil poised above the paper. The sun is just starting to set over the horizon setting the ocean on fire. The smell of the sea fills my nose and tickles my senses. I drag the pencil across the paper creating the blazing scene before my eyes. The waves crash upon the rocks below me sending droplets of water on my face. I lift the hood of my sweat-shirt over my head to ward off the cold and pull my long brown hair off my neck. I sit and stare into the waves, watching the water spraying against the shore."Stare any harder at it and it might run away from you." A deep voice says startling me out of my trance. I turn around to see a guy probably about my age looking back at me. He has shaggy brown hair, icy blue eyes and a body that could kill. He's not wearing a shirt; how I don't know, it's freezing outside. He was just wearing some swim trunks with a graphic pattern of some type.
"Really? I think it's kind of hard for an ocean to run away." I say looking back at him. "Are you cold?" I ask him.
"No, I just got out of the water."
"And you're not cold?" I say shocked.
"No. I'm used to it."
"What do you do in there?" I ask him returning back to my paper and pencil.
"Surf...what are you drawing over there?" He asks coming closer to look over my shoulder. He sits down on the rock next to me and immediately get self conscious. People always used to think I was strange for being so artsy.
"Nothing." I say immediately slamming my notebook shut and tucking my pencil behind my ear. "My name is Elizabeth. Everyone calls me Ellie." I say sticking my hand out for him to shake. He takes it with a firm grip.
"Sebastian." He says before looking back out to the surf. "It sure is beautiful huh?" He asks me with dreamy eyes.
"Yeah. It is really nice." I say putting my notebook back in my bag. "I'm sorry, but I really need to get going." I say getting up.
"Really?" He says with disappointment in his tone. "Can I see you again?" I look at him with a smile on his face.
"Gunna be here tomorrow?" I ask him.
"I will if you are." He says getting up as well.
"It's a date then." I say nodding my head and giving him a salute before grabbing my bag and walking to my car. I sit and start the engine. I drive for a while in silence thinking about Sebastian. I pull up into the driveway and put my car in park. I walk up the sidewalk and knock on the door. My best friend Amy answers the door and my little girl runs up to me and jumps into my arms. She is an almost exact copy of me with wispy brown hair and bright blue eyes to match mine. "Hi baby doll!" I exclaimed burying my face in her neck. She giggles excitedly.
"Hi momma!" She exclaims pulling herself up on my hip. "Look at the picture I drew you!" She says pulling out a picture of a stick figure wearing a bright blue dress. "It's you momma!" There was a faint outline of another person in the picture.
"Who is that baby?" I ask her pointing to the person.
"That's daddy..." She says before jumping down from my arms.
"Thank you Amy." I say picking up Addie's bag and taking her hand in mine. "How was your day sweetheart?" I ask as I buckle her into her car seat.
