Chapter 5-

Louis lay in bed, the covers tucked up to his nose as he played with his engagement ring. His fingers, which poked out of the covers, were revealed to all light coming in from the window. Sighing, Louis smiled thinking about what would happen in just about twenty four hours. He would be married. Harry would be his husband, and he would be Harry's. This was the last day that Louis would be called Louis William Tomlinson because, tomorrow, he'd be Louis William Styles.

This being both Harry and Louis' last day being together before the wedding, Harry had offered to drop Luca off at the hotel that their mums were staying at; Anne having said the day before that they'd watch her so 'the boys could spend some time together'. Harry said he'd come back and the two would just laze around all day, just cuddle.

He closed his eyes, completely happy and content, feeling the baby stir a bit in his belly. Louis placed a hand on the bare skin, which swelled out a bit more now, and smiled.

"You just make yourself comfy," Louis whispered to the baby. "Don't make me a punching bag just yet."

The baby stirred again in response, just as the bed dipped under a weight.

Soft, careful lips touched Louis' cheek, sending chills all over his body.

"You're awake," Harry stated. "I could have swore that you were asleep when I left."

Louis turned and looked up at him. "I've been awake the whole time," he smiled.

Harry kissed his jaw, making Louis fall into a fit of giggles. He pulled Harry down and let his head rest against his chest.

"How was Luca when you dropped her off?"

Harry sighed, running his fingertips up and down Louis' tanned, muscular arms. "She...uh, cried," he responded in a saddened tone.

"I hate seeing her cry..."

"I tried to explain to her that she was gonna see tonight, but she kept on crying."

"Does she understand the whole wedding thing?"

Harry shrugged, breathing in deeply. "She's a little confused. I told her that we were getting married, and she kind of got nervous. She thought that married meant something like a fight. But I explained, as best I could, that married means...well, I put it in three-year-old terms."

Louis chuckled and sat up a bit, the covers falling off his body and revealing his belly, his shirt now being pulled back down. Harry stared at him with total love and awe. Louis knew that face: When Harry had that expression, he was looking at him, and thinking that he was breathtaking. So many times, countless times, had Louis tried to tell Harry that he was wrong. But Harry, being as stubborn as he was, always stated otherwise.

"You're going to look amazing tomorrow," Harry breathed, cupping Louis' growing belly.

He smiled. "Not as incredible as you."

Harry just smirked and kissed Louis' lips gently.

"Well, I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about," Harry said. "You are the one who looks cute with a little belly."

Louis blushed, smiling widely. "Everyone's gonna see it," he said.

"They're supposed to. Once you announce it, eveyone's gonna notice."

He shrugged, getting nervous. "What should we do today," he questioned, needing to calm his nerves.

"Want to go for a walk? It's a really nice day out?"

Louis nodded, reaching for Harry to help him up.

They dressed quick, stopping at a cafe' to get tea before heading to the park.

Hands intertwined, the two boys, almost husbands, walked down the path, admiring the day.

Louis looked up at Harry, a smile on his face, and leaned in to kiss him. His eyes fluttered closed, just as thier lips grazed one another.

"Harry! Louis!"

They were pulled out of their romantic moment. Looking over from where the voice came from, they saw Matty running over, a large smile on his face, waving. Louis inwardly groaned, looking up at Harry who had a fake smile on his lips.

"Hey, Matty," Harry sighed, trying to cover the annoyance in his voice.

"What are you lads doing out today," he asked enthusiastically.

"We're just spending the day together," Harry responded, wrapping a snug arm around Louis.

"Oh! Sorry for interrupting!"

"It's fine," Louis grumbled irritably.

Matty still didn't leave.

"Well, what are you boys doing tomorrow? I'm sure you'd love to meet up for coffee?"

A silence fell among the three of them.

"Uh, Matty," Harry started. "Louis and I are actually really busy tomorrow. Our families are here visiting and, Luca's with our mums today. We haven't seen them in a while."

"I'm sorry, I didn't know! Well what are you doing tomorrow?"

Louis sighed and looked at Matty. "Listen, it's personal stuff. Harry and I don't go around asking what you're doing everyday."

He nodded. "Yeah, I'm sorry. So a few days then."

"We'll have to take a rain check."

He nodded. "Well, don't let me bother you any longer. Nice running into you!"

Matty then hugged Louis, and then Harry. Only the action towards Harry was different. Matty hugged the curly-haired boy, kissing him on both cheeks. This made Louis uncomfortable. He grabbed Harry's hand and squeezed it tight.

They walked away from Matty as fast as they (Louis) could. As soon as they were far enough from him, Harry pulled Louis into a tight hug. Louis was incredibly sensitive these days, and he hated being that way. Harry kissed his lips gently, pecking them a few times more than necessary, holding him in his arms.

"Why does he have to keep showing up?"

Harry shrugged. "I'm not sure. I'm sorry, Boo..."

Louis sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "It's fine...He just really creeps me out...I don't want him over at the flat anymore...or near Luca."

Harry nodded. "Couldn't agree more. Afraid I can't get away from him at work, though. He just doesn't seem to get it that we aren't really...comfortable around him."

Louis sighed again. "Maybe we should head home," he said.

Harry nodded.

When they got back to the flat, Louis packed his things-Harry having already brought Luca's when he dropped her off at the hotel-for the night.

"I'll see you tomorrow," Harry said.

Louis kissed him one last time.

"Tommorrow," he smiled.

That was the last time they saw each other before their wedding day.
