Chapter 13 - The Journey to Get Prepared (2)

I'm sure most if not all of you should know this by now.. I cannot be trusted on constant updates, even if I said I would do so. This story is more of a sudden inspiration kind of thing, and I have a lot of ideas in my head, but I just can't put them in words. Gomenasai minna. *hides behind the sofa and hope that no one will throw things at me out of disappointment/rage/etc*

I'm going to make the chapters shorter from now on, because I just realized that 5000 words for one chapter is just plain crazy. I'll most probably keep it around 2000-2500 from now onwards. Is that still a lot?

And I don't know if I mentioned this before, but the 'surprise' is in this chapter. Please don't kill me after this.

-Yuki POV-

"Uh.. Morning!" I said when I opened my eyes and saw a face right above me.

"About time you wake up." Tsunade snorted, and moved away. "We're moving in a few minutes, freshen up."

"Hai!" I started pulling things out of nowhere, and Tsunade's fingers twitched.

"Does Minato know that you're using Space-Time Ninjutsu like this?" She finally asked when I kept on making things appear and disappear.

"Err maybe. I think sensei pretends that he doesn't know. Ah, found it." I finally pulled out a mug with a toothbrush and toothpaste in it, and walked towards the toilet.

"Where are we anyway?" I asked after I finished my morning routine, and followed after Shizune, and I could see that Tsunade's fingers twitched again.

"The Land of Lightning.." Tsunade said defeatedly. "I can't even hide from you after running so far and hiding your mark.."

"Speaking of which, can you don't do that, sensei? I don't want to go on a trip to explore the world the next time I want to find you." Black lines formed on my forehead as I remembered the ridiculous part in the anime where Jiraiya and Naruto looked for Tsunade after the Third's death.

"Promise me that you won't give my position away to anyone else, especially Jiraiya and the Third." Tsunade then stopped and stared into my eyes. I then sighed.

"I swear on my name, Uchiha Yuki, that I will not tell anyone about Tsunade-sama's whereabouts." She then nodded, satisfied by my vow, and the three of us continued on the way back to Konoha.

"Ano, sensei, do you want to-"

"No I don't want to go back to the village so early, so don't suggest using that jutsu again." Tsunade then gave me a dirty look. "And the Third would nag at me when I'm back, so it won't be so easy to go to casinos in the future."

"Somehow I feel that the second reason is the real reason.." I whispered to Shizune, and she smiled awkwardly. "I know how hard it is to take care of Tsunade-sama, Shizune-chan. Ganbatte. Don't tell her I said that I don't want to die yet."

Tsunade turned and glared at me, and I walked to the side of the road. "Ah, what a beautiful weather today~ Perfect for going back to the village~"

-Third Person POV-

"Shizune, do you think she's quite strange lately?" Tsunade narrowed her eyes as she studied the sleeping Yuki. "She's sleeping a lot, and she keeps on eating umeboshi (pickled plums)."

"Mah, Yuki-chan has been travelling a lot lately. First she went to Sunagakure for a mission, then back to Konohagakure, then she looked for Jiraiya-sama, and then she has to look for you, and now she has to go back to Konoha, all without stopping for a rest. Naturally she'd be tired." Shizune said while listing the journeys with her fingers.
