Chapter 30 - Heartless? (1)

-Yuki POV-

"Nee-san, where have you been!" Sasuke asked immediately when I teleported to the yard, and I smiled.

"Just asking the Hokage for the permission to do what I want to do.." I said as I cracked my knuckles, and Kakashi gulped.

"I'm really sorry for what had happened last night. I wasn't thinking clearly." He said immediately, and the kids looked at us with interest. I then cast a barrier around the two of us, blocking our conversation, and they pouted, disappointed that they don't get to hear the latest gossip.

"You think that a 'sorry' is going to make up for everything over the past twelve years?" I said emotionlessly as I looked at him, and his face paled. "Yeah, I found out what had happened during my absence, and to be honest, I'm disappointed."

"It's not what it looks like.. Give me a chance to explain..!" He grabbed my hand and pleaded, and I sighed after a while, and looked into his eye.

"Let's not talk about your drinking problem first.. What's with the woman? And the red-light district thing?"

"That's.. That's.." His grip on my hand tightened, and he let go after a while. "I missed you.." I then took in a deep breath, and let it out slowly.

"So you went and found a whore.." My voice cracked when I said this, and he looked at me, wide-eyed. "No, no, I get it. I get it.." I wiped away the tears on my face, and dispersed the barrier as I backed away from him.

"No, Yuki..! That's not..!" He walked towards me, and I backed away further.

"No, no, this conversation is done. I've gotten what I need to know. You guys are all the same." I shook my head and teleported away immediately, before collapsing on my bed and letting my mind drift.

-Third Person POV-

"No, no, this conversation is done. I've gotten what I need to know. You guys are all the same." Yuki's voice got the attention of the four Genins, and they saw the tears on her face before she disappeared.

"What did you do to nee-chan..!" Naruto growled immediately as a red chakra coated over his body. Chiaki and Sasuke grabbed him, and activated their Sharingan.

"Stop before it's too late, Naruto. You're not able to control him yet. Oka-san isn't here to help you." Chiaki said as she looked at Naruto, and he panted heavily before he let go of the red chakra slowly.

"Oka-san was crying in her room last night." Chiaki then looked at Kakashi, Sharingan still activated. "She thought that all of us were asleep, but I was getting a drink. If anything happens to her, I'll never acknowledge you as my father."

"What did you just say?" Kakashi looked at her immediately, and she looked away.

"You heard what I just said." A gust of wind then blew around her, and all the weed flew up on its own and laid in a neat pile.

"None of us will acknowledge you." Sasuke added as he deactivated his Sharingan. "Let's hurry back and tell nii-san. No one knows where she is now.."

"Sakura-chan, can we trouble you to keep our mission reward first? We're kind of in a hurry now." Naruto smiled and said, and Sakura nodded.

"Hai, no problem. Although I don't get what's happening.." She then grabbed Kakashi's jacket. 'Let's go, sensei. I'm scared that you'll sneak off like last time."

Meanwhile, in a certain house, two adults waited worriedly as a young adult knocked on the shut bedroom door. "Nee-san, come out. Do you wanna talk about it?"
