Chapter 19 - Declaration

-Yuki POV-

"I know that Hiashi-san have asked you to report to him everything that you have learnt from me, in hopes that the rest of your clan can learn too. So, I have two choices for the both of you. The first one is the one which you can tell him, and the second one is the one which you can't tell him. And obviously, the second training is harder, but the results will definitely be better than the first." I said to the two listening Hyuuga, and pointed to the ANBU beside me. "He's going to be in charge of the second training. You have 5 minutes to choose."

"I choose the second one." Neji said immediately.

"Tch. You won." I threw a sack of money at the ANBU, and he grabbed it and laughed. "You two can start anywhere. I've got the whole training ground secured." I pointed to the area nearby. "And Tori, don't make me regret making this decision. I am putting myself in risk by doing this." He nodded before heading off with Neji.

"I.. The second one.." Hinata then spoke softly.

"Hoh.. How surprising.. Can I know the reason?" She looks startled, and I sighed. "Everyone has a reason for doing everything, Hinata-chan. My reason for training you is that I hope to know you better, and I want to help you through whatever problems you're facing. It's okay to tell me, I promise I won't tell anyone."

"I.. I don't want to disappoint Father.." I sighed again and rubbed her head.

"That's not a good enough reason, but it'll do for now. I'm going to give you your first homework. Think about what you want to achieve in your life. The due date is the day when you are clear and positive of your answer." I then stood up.

"Mah. Let's start, shall we? I only have two things to teach you. One is Taichi, and the other one is how to become more powerful. You can tell Hiashi-san about the first one, but how much he learns is none of my business." I then gave a cold laugh, knowing that it's difficult for one to learn Taichi without proper instructions.

"Taichi is a form of taijutsu, and it comprises of yin and yang." I then got into a defensive position. "Try and attack me with the Gentle Fist. Don't worry, I won't get hurt. I'm a Jonin, after all." I comforted her after seeing her worried face, and she took in a deep breath and attacked.

"Are?" I drew a circle with my palm, and her attack got directed away. She tried again, more focused this time, but she could not hit me at all.

"Taichi captures your opponent's center of gravity, and manipulates it so that your opponent's blows will not land on you. Of course, if you are not experienced enough, it won't work." I then stopped. "Taichi is soft, but just. That is the defensive." I then turned my attention to the two males.

"Oi! You're too slow!" Both guys then came over, and I could see Neji wiping his eyes. "You want to attack, or defend?" I then asked, and Tori scratched his head.

"Attack. Taichou's mastery in Taichi is too crazy, the last time I chose defend I had to lie down at the hospital for a few days." He complained slightly, and I rolled my eyes.

"That's because you were distracted. You should be able to catch up with your privilege." We then started demonstrating, and I fended off every attack with ease.

"No more. Taichou is not human. I always lose whenever I spar with you." He stopped after seeing that both kids had grasped a basic understanding, and I stuck out my tongue at him.

"So I've demonstrated the defensive skills, and when you two are proficient enough, we'll start on the offensive skills. We'll have a little tournament at the end of the training, and the winner gets a small prize from me." Tori then took Neji away and started practicing, and Hinata and I got started too.
