Luna stood in the girls locker room pacing back n' forth waiting for soccer try outs to begin. She had been a soccer player since age 12 but never been apart of a school team but after a lot of convincing from Lane she decided to finally try out.

Jack hadn't come this morning and she doubted he'd come today. She partially blamed herself cause' they hadn't texted in a few days but it concerned her. Wouldn't a boyfriend come see you try out regardless?

"Vince try outs start in 10 minutes" Laura Kit said to her, before walking back out the door.

She took a deep breath before jogging out of the locker room and towards the soccer field. She saw the large group of girls on the field stretching and getting ready to do their thing.

She began to do the same not wanting to take any risks for this day. Out the corner of her eye she sees a few people come and sit on the bleachers.

While stretching she turned her body slightly to see who it was. Matthew, Meghan, and a random girl sat on the bleachers staring right at her.

They waved at her. Meghan and Luna hadn't quiet fixed their friendship but they were getting there slowly. Luna and Matthew made eye-contact with one another. He winked at her and gave her a smile.

Luna was happy that someone had made it out to the try-outs but confused why Matthew was missing very important practices to see her try out.

The coach blew his whistle getting everyone and including her attention.

"Alright girls, since there is 24 of you trying out slip 12 and 12 we are going to have a game. This counts as try outs. I'm picking 15 of you to be on our team after winter holiday. Let's begin" he yelled, blowing his whistle letting them break.

WARNING; I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT SOCCER SO...

Luna heard the whistle go off letting all the girls break into teams of 12 she joined up with a few girls she knew well and others she knew from classes and so on.

When the whistle blew again and the ball landed on the field the girls went a little wild and started running after the ball.

The ball ended up being kicked to Luna by Sharmaine. She panicked at first be remained calm as she ran down the field kicking and running as fast as she could all the way to her goal and kicking it right past the goalies making it in.

From the distance she heard Matthews loud whistle and laugh. She smiled a little but sighed wishing Jack was here watching as well.

Tryouts ended at 6:00 although Luna loves soccer she was happy it was over cause' he legs were starting to kill her and so was her hunger.

"I'll be out in a minute" she smiled as she walked past Matthew going back towards the locker room.

"Ill just go start the car up, I'll be in the student parking lot" he told her, as she walked into the locker room and he kept walking towards the parking lot.

Luna showered quickly and put on a pair of joggers and her 'Blackbear' hoodie and her vans before tying her hair up. She heard a few girls looking at her and whispering from their locker making her glare at them.

"Can I help you?" She asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

This was one thing that annoyed Luna. When people talk behind your back or make assumptions; but can never say it to your face. It drove her crazy.

"Well no, but are you and Matthew like a thing or something?" The girl asked, she didn't look familiar really so Luna assumed she was a freshman.

"Uh no, I have a boyfriend and he's just my friend and also my brothers best friend" She told them, looking her up and down.

"And if I did, what's it to you?" Luna scoffed a little annoyed.

"Nothing, just that he's extremely hot" the girl hummed, shrugging her shoulders.

"I'm sure he wouldn't go after someone like you" Luna barked, rolling her eyes.

"Really? Cause' it seems like he goes after the girls who will give up a little" she smirked.

"Might be why he never went after you" she snickered, bumping her shoulder as she walked past.

Luna rolled her eyes ignoring what they said to a point. They didn't know Luna at all and they never will. She was hoping those girls wouldn't be on the team. But they probably would be.

Luna quickly walked to the student parking lot trying as fast as she can to get off her feet. When she made it out to the parking lot she saw Matthew leaned up against his car with that girl from the locker room.

A grown of annoyance escaped her lips as she walked up to the car faster. "Hey, are you-" she cut Matthew off. "Can we just go, I want food" she snapped, staring at the girl the whole time.

"Yeah sure, I'll see you later Mac" she heard him mumble. That's her name Mac, Luna rolled her eyes flicking the girl off as she smirked at her through the windshield.

"Hey, what the hell?" Matthew shouted, slapping Luna's middle finger down.

"She's a bitch" Luna shrugged, looking out the window.

"You don't even know her" Matthew looked at her.

"Well I don't want to after the little conversation I had with her in the locker room" Luna told him, not looking away from the window.

"What happened?"

"Nothing that needs to be discussed" she shrugged not wanting to carry it along any farther.

"I am just happy it is finally winter break. And I get a chance to go home and relax for two weeks again" she sighed, feeling relief within her.

"Yeah, apparently we're all leaving tomorrow morning" Matthew shrugged.

"What why?" She snapped, looking at him.

"Chill there, anyways I guess my family and your family want to have Christmas up at our other house. And your dads going to be there along with his wife and Joey" Matthew informed her.

"Why would we go to a beach house in December?" Luna scoffed.

Matthew glared at her "we aren't, my family has this house in the mountains. Six hours away, and I'm driving you so get used to this" he smiled, winking.

"Just great"

Sorry if this is horrible it's rushed etc. next chapter will be better I swear. I'll probably update again today cause' I have little more time.

I might not have Jack featured until after her holiday break etc.
