"Mac, I'm sitting in the food court by Charley's. Meet me there" Luna said into the phone, as she walked into the line to order food. "Okay I see you now, bye" Mac said, hanging up the phone.
As soon as Luna hung up with Mac she received a text from "MatthewLee" she smiled down at her phone quickly opening it.

"Hey Luna" Mac smiled, standing next to Luna in line. "Hey, what took so long?" Luna asked, returning the smile. "I dropped my phone under those booths. Took me forever to grab it" she told luna, rolling her eyes dramatically. Luna chuckled.
"Do you want anything? I'm just getting fries and a drink" Luna offers, seeing they were up. "Ill take a tea I guess" Mac shrugs, not wanting much since she already ate. Luna nods ordering her fries, and 2 blueberry teas. Once the lady at the Charley's hands the girls their food, they make their way to a table.
"How have you been?" Mac asked, sipping on her drink. "I'm okay, just been working on school at my dads at hanging out with Matthew" Luna told, smiling a bit. "You live with your dad now?" "Yes, and no. I prefer my dads. But I don't want to leave my mom so I do half and half. I am just staying at my dads till I leave for California" Luna explains to her.
"So it is true, you and Matthew are going in a trip together" Mac said, chuckling. Luna nodded swallowing her drink. "Yes, Matthew and I are going to Cali together. He's a trusted family friend" Luna tells her. "So what's up with you?" Luna asked, changing the subject.
Mac sighed shrugging, her face fell a little making Luna frown. "My parents ate getting divorced. They said now that I'm old enough I understand what's going on. Their making it official Friday" Mac explained, frowning a little.
Luna frowned as well. She hated hearing about parents splitting up. Since she had first had experience with it and at the same age. "Its a little rough at first. But its not as bad, if your dad plans on staying in your life. My dad wasn't around for awhile" Luna tells her.
She sniffles a little, holding back tears "he says he is. But I'm afraid he won't. And all my mom has been doing is talking bad about him, and I hate it" she expresses. Luna sighed, "I know how that feels. Honestly, tell her how you hate that. Lane and I did, and she stopped. She doesn't like my father much, but she sees him and doesn't speak bad about him. Its just words of anger" she tells her.
"Do you wanna tell me the bad thing you did? Or is it not the time?" Luna asked, suddenly feeling anxious about the situation.
"I guess I can tell you. Since it has to do with my parents" she sighed, suddenly relieving Luna of her other anxious bad thoughts on the situation.
"What is it?"
"I feel like I made a mistake choosing my mom. Like I love her, but I feel safer with my dad. And I don't want to make my mom cry. My dad understood and I will still see him Friday - Sunday. But I wish it was the other way around. I feel horrible" she frowned, wiping a few tears.
"I know you don't want to hurt your mom, but if you feel safer with your dad you need to express this. Even if you stay at your dads a few weeks and your mom. Are they going to be living close to the school?" Luna asks.
"Yeah, my dad will be living in a house close by the school. And I already live near with my mom" she tells me. I smile a little "make an agreement in court Friday then. Ask to split it up by weeks. Few weeks at your dads few weeks at your mom's" Luna says, trying to make her feel better.
Mac dries up her tears nodding. Luna gets up throwing her stuff away, Mac following behind her. "Calm down okay? You and I are going to shop" Luna tells her smiling.

The uber drops Luna off in front of Matthew Lee's house, walking right inside since Mr. Nor Mrs. Espinosa were home. Matthew laid on the couch watching TV.
Luna plopped down on to his lap causing him to groan in pain. "Be careful" he groaned, grabbing her waist and pulling her a different way. She smiled down, letting a laugh slip.
"How was the mall?" He asked her, putting the tv on mute. "Good, Mac isn't bad. She's just going through a lot" Luna explains, playing with them hem of his shirt. He nods not wanting to converse much in the topic of mac.
Matthew pulls luna down to where she's laying next to him. "We leave in the morning" he mumbles against her skin. Goose bumps rise on her skin, as she nods. "I'm excited" she smiles nervously. "I am too. Its going to be fun I promise" he tells her, kissing her cheek.
His lips traveled his lips along her cheek. Meeting the side of her mouth, before pulling his lips away quickly. Luna sat up swallowing lump in her throat "maybe we should watch a movie you know" she says, looking around the room.
Matthew's eyed stayed focused on her face, smiling a little at how panicked she was. He loved her this way, 6 in the evening dressed but her hair was a mess still.
"You look beautiful" Matthew said, smiling. Luna slowly looked at him, pushing hair behind her ear "Matthew Lee, my hairs a mess. And I didn't do my makeup today" she shakes her head, disapproving of his comment. He smiles bigger at her "I know" he said.
"Its my favorite you. I love when you get up and your hair is a mess and you can see you didn't get any sleep, but you still manage to function. I love when you wakeup and and put on makeup because its what you love. I love you done or undone" he tells her, brushing his thumb across her face.
Their faces were centimeters away, when the door opened letting the sunset reflect into the house. Matthew and Luna both pulling away quickly seeing Lori Matthews mom standing there. "Hey aunt Lori" Luna says awkwardly.
Lori smiles a little "your dads in the drive way. He's waiting for you" she says, giving them a look before walking into the kitchen.
Luna looks at Matthew bursting into a fit of laughter, as his cheeks heat up. Luna pinched them, "I'll see you at five am" she whispers, kissing his cheek before leaving his house.
