Three months later :

As her heart beat faster and faster, Luna sat impatiently in the bathroom waiting to find out the results of her pregnancy tests. It was the second one she did this month, and she was hoping this one was the winner. Her and Matthew had been trying for months since they found out both of them were healthy and eligible to actually produce children.

The timer finally went off and Luna shot her head up immediately from in between her legs. Taking a moment to herself and letting out a deep breath she crossed her fingers, "please please be pregnant" she whispered to herself, before picking up the stick.

Lifting it up revealing two lines, she felt her stomach explode. She took a double take at both the pregnancy tests, as they did reveal she was in fact pregnant. "Oh my god" she whispered to herself, feeling a rush over come her. It was pure excitement. "I'm actually pregnant" she said, feeling tears well up in her eyes.

She took deep breaths to calm herself down from freaking out, but in the best way possible. Looking again at the pregnancy test, it was pure happiness she was holding in her hands. Her and Matthew were ready to have kids, start an actual life together, everything was falling into place all over again. Wiping the tears away, she grabbed her phone and dialed Matthew.

"Hey baby" he says answering immediately.

Luna sniffed laughing "hi, when are you going to be home?" She asked him.

She wanted to tell him, but she wanted it to be a special moment. Something they could share and remember forever. Checking his watch Matthew let out a sigh.

"Maybe three more hours, is everything okay?" He asked sounding worried.

"Yes of course, I just miss you and I'm lonely. Sam and Mac won't be here for another week" she said, sighing. Sam and Mac were both off at college in other states, but it was holiday time again so they won't be back for another week.

"I'll be home shortly baby, hold tight. I love you" he told her, making her cheeks heat up as she smiled. "I love you too" she muttered into the phone before ending the call.

Luna planned out the rest of the day. She was going to make a nice dinner, and hand Matthew a 'present' when he opens it, it would be the pregnancy test.

Later that night :

"Luna, are you here?" Matthew asked, yelling through the house. Luna peered out from the bedroom hearing her husbands voice and getting excited. "I'm right here, I'm just changing" she yelled back, pulling him her leggings and her favorite hoodie.

When Matthew came in the room, he smiled and kissed Luna's forehead. "How was your day?" He asked, taking off his shoes and changing into different clothes. "It was boring didn't do much" Luna lied, shrugging. "Dinners almost ready, lets go down stairs" she says, getting him up quickly.

Luna set both of their plates out and making them, shrimp alfredo which is both Matthew and her favorite. "What's the occasion for you to cook?" He jokes with her, as she sets their plates down ready for them to eat.
