Christmas Morning

"Wake up, wake up" Luna heard, she opened one eye to see Joey standing at the foot of her bed. "What time is it?" She yawned stretching.

"8;30, we wanna open presents" he whined like a little kid. Luna laughed a little getting out of bed and roughing his hair a little before proceeding to make her way to the den with Joey running behind her.

She noticed everyone else sitting on the floor in their pajamas drinking hot chocolate. "No one woke me?" She asked taking a seat.

Ms. K walked over and handed her own cup of hot chocolate she smiled thanking her muttering Merry Christmas.

"I did, but you wouldn't budge so we sent Joey in after 20 minutes"  Mr. Vince said, laughing.

"Alright let's open gifts" Aunt Lura smiled, hanging each of them their first gifts.

The house was filled with Christmas music blaring, while all the kids were outside playing in the white snow.

Luna felt snow hit the back of her head she turned around glaring at Lane, Matthew, and Joey who were laughing.

She flipped them off rolling her eyes. She bent down picking up enough snow to throw at all three of them. "You guys are douches" she shouted laughing.

"Hey you hit my eye" Lane yelled running after. Luna ran away laughing as the three boys chased after her till Lane picked her up and threw her over his shoulder and ran around.

"Holy fuck put me down" she screamed laughing. "Nope, you deserve this" he yelled, as he continued to run around.

He passed her to Matthew who ran with her as well. "How do you like the view of my ass?" He asked, laughing and smirking as he ran.

"Very nice very nice" she joked, rolling her eyes. She screamed loudly as Matthew tripped making her and him both fall into the snow.

"Holy shit, that was scary" she yelled laughing. "I think my life flashed before my eyes" she said breathless as Lane and Joey stood watching at laughing.

"Look at you guys, always so immature" Luke said, with Emily nodding her head.

Luna went to snap but Matthew cut her off "it's Christmas lighten up a little. Do you need help pulling the stick out?" he laughed.

Lane and Joey died of laughter as Luke and Emily stood their offended and shocked. Luna just rolled her eyes and looked the other way.

"Whatever, your moms want you" Luke scoffed, rolling his eyes and walking towards the rode complaining to Emily about the lack of heat.

Luke and Emily are from Florida they aren't used to it.

The kids got out of the snow and walked towards the house shaking the snow off of them and meeting the moms in the kitchen.

"We were told you wanted us?" Lane said, rocking on his heels looking around. "Yeah dinner is going to be ready soon, can you guys go get dressed?" Aunt Lura told them.

They were all dressed in their matching grey sweaters and sweats from Nike. Everyone nodded and walked away going up to their rooms to wash up and get ready.

The family gathered around the table smiling for a few photos before the dinner started. Yes family, everyone here grew up around each other from such a young age that they're all considered family to each other.
