Saturday 16th September
So today Dan made me go out with him. Literally, I had no choice, somehow he got my address, and then just showed up at my house, then Nick shouted me down. I already heard him talking to someone with a familiar voice, but I couldn't put a finger on it, until Nick shouted:
"BON! YOUR BOYFRIENDS HERE!"
I could instantly see the smile on Dan's face, even though I wasn't there.
"He isn't my boyfriend."
I said bluntly when I got downstairs. Luckily Nick had left so me and Dan could....I don't even know.
"C'mon, we're going out."
"No, we're not."
"Yes we are."
So it actually turns out, Dan is quite fun, and he's growing on me if i'm honest. We went to the shopping centre, Nando's, and then went for a walk around the river and field. Dan telling me about himself:
"So I was brought up in Berkshire, with my mum and dad, we did have a dog but he died....moving on, I went to school, obviously, then my dad got a job transfer up here, which is why i'm here."
Which him then insisting that I told him about myself, which I declined, now yes, I know that isn't fair, but like I said, he doesn't need someone like me in his life, but I can't deny, he is trying, and i'm starting to think that I should cut him some slack and let him in a little, but then again, I think i'm better off on my own.
Yesterday, I actually spoke to Keeley, and yep, that is her name. She told me a little about herself and I told her a little about me, which is surprising. She invited me out yesterday, but I declined, she looked a little hurt, but I have my reasons.
Nick officially moved in today, and if I must say, I miss my real Dad. I mean yeah, I never knew him nor do I now, but I do, Nick is really trying and he is like my Dad, but he never will be my real Dad, and it really does hurt. I've tried to contact my Dad before, but it always ends up as a dead end. It's like he doesn't want to know me, but i'm not giving up.
