I was in the living room watching Netflix while Cora is probably sleeping now as it is 1am in the morning. I should probably go to sleep too but I just really love this movie.

I was snuggled in my blanket as I swear I heard a big bang from the balcony. I jumped in fright and I paused my movie to hear better.

I heard shuffling around in the balcony which made my eyes go wide. Is someone trying to break in?

I quickly got up running towards my room and grabbing my bat I keep for safety.

I slowly walk up to the balcony door of our apartment seeing a figure on the other side of the door. I shut my eyes and took fee deep breaths as I never been so scared in my life.

They began to play with the door knob as the grip on the baseball just got more tighter. The door opened as I swung the bat to the person as they fell to the floor in pain.

I ran to turn on the light to see who it was.

"Nathan!?" I whispered yelled as he was groaning on the ground.

Oh what have I done.

I kneeled beside him helping him up and placing him on the couch where I was sitting.

"What the hell were you doing?" I asked him as I gave him a bag of frozen peas.

"I got a text from Cora saying to come over from the balcony." He said.

"Cora's sleeping, why would she ask you to come over?" I wondered
as I got up and walked to her room seeing her pretend sleeping.

"Cora Elizabeth Winchester wake up right now." I said angry. She hesitated as she opened her eyes and got up frowning.

"What in the world were you thinking of inviting Nathan over at 1 am in the morning?! You could've at least told me rather than me having a heart attack thinking someone was going to break in the house." I yelled.

"I'm sorry I just really wanted to see him!" She said back as I sighed.

"Just let me know if you are going to do that ever again because you know I try my best to keep you safe." I said sitting beside her on her bed.

"I know..." She said.

"Now give me a hug and take care of Nathan on the couch." I said as she hugged me and went to Nathan.

I got up following her as Nathan said he should go back home by now.

"Next time just use the front door." I joked as she smiled.

"Noted." He said as he got up looking perfectly fine.

"Woah wait where did you bruise go?" I asked him as his facial expression changed.

"What bruise?" He stuttered.

"I swear you had a huge bruise on your forehead."

"I think you need sleep Hayley. I better get going before my brother Daniel gets mad or even yet the pack." He said.

"The pack? What are you guys, a pack of wolves?" Cora laughed as I couldn't help but to as well.

Nathan left as I thought it was time we all go to sleep as I tucked in Cora in bed and went to sleep as I have work in a couple of hours.

The door bell rang as I groaned rubbing my eyes seeing it was 3:45am. Who the hell is ringing the door at this time?

I got up from bed as I dragged my feet to the door. It has to be Nathan again, because who else who come to my apartment.

Without thinking as I was half asleep I opened the door.

"Nathan what do you wa—" I stopped talking as I looked at who it was making me wide awake.

My heart dropped to my stomach I wanted to barf, scream, cry. I had so many emotions running through my mind. But the first thing I did was slam the door but he had to much strength.
"What do you want?!" I screamed.
"I just want to talk." He said in a deep voice which sent shivers up and down my spine.

It was the same creepy man from the shop. I knew he was a creepy asshole.

"CORA CALL THE COPS!" I screamed making Cora rush out of her room as she was frightened. She was talking to the police as I was trying to keep the door closed. I grabbed Cora as we went into my room and  I locked it behind us. I went into the closest and made sure Cora was behind me as I was trying to protect us.

"Cora you have to stay quiet okay, we are going to be alright." I said trying to calm her down as she was silently crying.

We knew he was in the house we can hear his foot steps.

We heard stuff breaking as Cora hugged me tightly as I wrapped my arms around her.

All of a sudden the loud noises stopped.
I looked at Cora as she was looking at me.

We then heard footsteps coming closer to us as I heard the door to my room open.
He is in the room.
I covered my own mouth as I was heavily breathing because I was so afraid of what will happen.

They stopped right in front of my closet as they opened the door as Cora and I held each other tightly.

I looked at him and it was Jai. My breathing calmed down as I wasn't so scared anymore.

"We have to go, now!" He said with his hand out for me to grab.

I got out rejecting his offer and made sure Cora was alright.

"What are you doing here?!" I asked him.

"I was looking for Nathan and this was the first place I thought he would be but then I saw the door open and that man there." He said.

"Is he gone?" I asked him.

"He ran away before I could do anything." He said as I was worried he might come again.

"You are not safe here, the police are on their way. We should go to my place." He said.

I looked at him and at Cora.

"We will be safe there Hales." She whispered to me as I sighed.

"Okay let's go." I said.
