"Hayley why are you freaking out?" Cora said to me as I was tossing all my clothes everywhere.
"I can't find anything to wear!" I groaned.

"Where are you going?" She asked me.

I stopped as I looked at my little sister.

"On a date... I think." I said trying not to smile.

"What with who?! Is it Thomas!" She shouted out loud.

"Shh why are you so loud! And no not Thomas." I whispered yelled.

She came closer to me.

"Then who?" She asked.

"Jai." I said biting my lower lip to stop myself from smiling.

"What!" She shouted out again as I got up covering her mouth with my hand as she was mumbling stuff loudly on my hand.

"Are you calm now?" I asked her as she silently nodded.

I took my hand away as she smiled at me.

"Do you want some help?" She offered.

"Yes please." I said as Cora began to help me.

Jai's POV:

"So you and Hayley are going out tonight." James winked at me.

"Yeah, she has so much on her mind so thought I'd take her out to just get her mind off of things." I said as I put away the book I was reading on the shelf.

"Okay yeah what ever. You can be lying to the boys but not me. I know you like her." He said as I looked at him.

"I can't like her James..." I frowned sitting down on the chair in his room as he sat in front of me.

"Why not? Beau even said it's your job for her to fall in love with you. It's okay if you actually like her back." He said.

"But she's a human! You know my pervious relationship with Nikki, who is a werewolf like me, and how it ended."I said.

"What's the problem if Hayley is a human?" He asked me.

"There's a chance of me hurting her..." I looked to the ground.

"Oi Jai, out of all the boys in the pack we all know you are the one who is most afraid to hurt an innocent. But you aren't going to hurt her. You have been protecting her since you have seen her." He said.

"But what if she doesn't like me back? Or what if she leaves me how Nikki left me?" I began to doubt things.

"Stop comparing Hayley to Nikki. They are completely different."

"But theres moments where I think about Hayley but also Nikki. You know how much I loved her." I ran my hands through my hair.

James sat beside me putting his hand on my shoulder.

"Just go on the date and don't think about Nikki. Just think about Hayley." He said as I looked at him.

I nodded as I began to get up.

"Thanks James." I said as he smiled.

I decided to go in my room to change now.

I opened the door as I saw clothes everywhere on the ground and looked up seeing Hayley half naked trying to fit into her dress.

"Jai!" She screamed as Cora was helping her cover up.

I just chuckled and turned around.

"What are you doing here?!" She yelled at me.
