Hayley's POV:
"Oi boys!" Beau yelled from downstairs which woke me from my nap.
I rubbed my eyes as I looked at the time seeing it was 10 p.m.
I got up as I grabbed my hoodie slipping it on as it's cold as usual.
I walk out the room seeing a lot of talking coming from down the stairs in front of the door.
It was all the guys as they were all shirtless.
"Where are you guys going?" I asked as they all looked up at me.
I glanced at Jai as he was staring at me as I looked away from him.
"It's the full moon, we usually go out into the woods and do our were wolf thing." Daniel said.
"What's the werewolf thing?" I asked.
"Keep an eye out from the other werewolves to make sure they don't hurt anyone. Also keep an eye on each other." James said.
"So you guys are the good guys?" I asked.
"You can say but some of us can't control our anger." Luke said glancing over at Jai as he was huffing and puffing.
"Where's Cora?" I asked.
"She's outside, she wants to come out with us." Nathan said.
My eyes went wide.
"Are you crazy?" I said and I walked down the stairs and through the crowd of the boys who's skins were burning hot.
"Chill Hayley." Someone said behind me but I ignored them seeing Cora sitting on the steps.
"What in the world are you thinking?!" I said to her.
"Hayley it's okay the guys will protect me, Nathan's not going to leave my side." She said.
"Are you stupid?! There werewolves and they are more out there, and they are bad. They can rip your head off with their teeth in seconds!" I raised my voice.
"Nothing will happen to me! Can you stop being so fucking protective all the time. I'm 15 not 7 years anymore Hayley! Stop trying to act like mom and dad and try to act more like my older sister! Get over the fact that mom and dad got murdered and move on with life!" She yelled back at me.
So much anger took over my body that I couldn't help but raise my hand and slap her across the face.
The moment I did that I placed my hand down as guilt rushed through me.
Cora held her hand against the stingy red cheek I slapped her on.
Nathan came out the door as they all watched what just happened as he ran passed me and to his girlfriend.
"Cora I'm so sorr—" I got cut off.
"Save it Hayley." She said walking away.
Nathan turned back and looked at me as I noticed his fist and veins popping out from his neck.
"You hurt her." He said through his gritted teeth coming closer to me angry.
"Nathan I'm sorry." I said as tears were forming in my eyes.
Before he could do anything someone stood in front of me.
"Nathan control yourself." Jai said as I stared at his back.
Nathan calmed down and turned around to Cora and comforted her.
