"Hey Nathan." I said as he was about to leave with the group to help Cora control herself.

"Yeah Hayley what's up?" He said.

"I just wanted to say sorry I said those things without thinking. I know you would never let anyone hurt Cora. I was just in a bad place." I said to him.

"It's okay Hayley, I understand." He said.

I gave him a smile as he returned it giving me a hug.

I hugged him back as he then left out to join the boys.

I went to the kitchen and filled myself a glass of water as I chugged it down.

Cora is a werewolf...

It's my fault.

I went upstairs to mine and Jai's room as I opened the door to the balcony.

I watched the group as they all looked like they were having a good time.

I looked down at Jai as he looked at me and stared at me.

"You coming?" He shouted.

I just shook my head and sighed.

I turned around as I walked back in the room and began to just walk around looking at Jai's stuff.

As I was looking around I saw my picture of my parents.

You are supposed to protect Cora.

You turned her into one of them.

You ruined her life.

I shut my eyes as I dropped the pictures.

"I'm sorry." I said trying not to cry.

Jai's POV:

"Hey Jai you alright?" Daniel asked me.

"Yeah, I'm going to check on Hayley." I said as they all nodded and I went back inside the house.

I walked upstairs as entered the room seeing her back faced against me as she was just standing there.

"Hayley?" I spoke.

I watched her body flinch as I scared her.

But she didn't turn around. I saw her arm move towards her face as I think she wiped her cheeks.

Is she crying?

"Are you okay?" I asked taking few steps closer to her.

"Y-yeah." She said.

"Hayley." I said as I grabbed her wrist.

"Just leave me alone." I heard her sniffle.

It worried me on why she is so upset.

I turned her around as she was now facing me but looking down to the ground.

I cupped her face and lifted her head as her eyes met mine.

Her were glistening from the tears as they were rolling down her cheeks.

"What's wrong?" I asked sincere.

"I-I can't do this Jai." She said as I was confused on what she is talking about.

"What are you talking about?" I asked her.

"I ruined Cora's life. She's a werewolf, she's not a normal 15 year old girl anymore but a creature. I quit my job and moved out of my apartment. Someone is after us trying to kill us or something and I don't know what I'm supposed to do. This is all too much." She cried.

"Hey, don't worry. I know you lost your whole life but this was supposed to happen Hayley. Even if this might be the shitty life, theres always reasons of why it happens." I told her.

"But what about Cora!?" She said.

"What about Cora? She is still the same beautiful little sister of yours who loves you to death." I said staring at her beautiful face.

"I ruined her life..." She frowned.

I grabbed her hand and led her to the balcony.

"Look." I said pointing at Cora.

"Look at that smile on her face, look how happy she looks? She is loving life right now. Nathan makes her so happy and she loves being a werewolf. She's the same girl but she's happier. But do you know who is not happy?" I paused staring at the girl staring at her sister.

"You." I said as she looked at me and I wiped her tears as she stopped crying.

"Come here." I said opening my arms as she came closer and wrapped her arms around me to give her warmth.

"Thank you Jai." She mumbled into my chest.

I smiled and held her tighter.

"I don't know if this is the right time, but what do you say about going out and watching a movie tonight?" I asked her.

She pulled apart of the hug and looked at me.

"Like a date?" She asked.

"If you want it to be one." I replied.

She smiled.

"I'd love to." She said as she hugged me again as we just stayed there hugging.
