"Riley, Maya's here!"
Last week, me and Maya decided that we're going to have the sleepover the week after. She told me that the other weekend she wand her mom were going to have a 'mother daughter' time so she didn't want to cancel on her mom. I, of course, said that it was okay. She said she was sorry that she had to cancel and then came up with the idea of having it this weekend instead.
I made the bed ready; changed the sheets, took some other pillows to make it more comfortable and I took out some snacks too. As I was picking out some movies we could watch, Maya walked in my room.
"Hey Riles."
I looked up. "Maya!" I walked up to her and hugged her. She hugged me back, even though she isn't the hugging type. "So I've fixed everything; the bed, food and movies." I said as we separated from the hug.
She looked around the room and nodded in approval. "Looks nice, peaches. You did a very good job." My smile grew wide and so did hers. "So, which movies did you pick?"
"Well," I picked up all the movies and showed her. "I picked out some chick flicks, fantasy, comedy, scary movie and drama. The typical." She looked through the movies and nodded.
"Let's do this then." She jumped on my bed and took up the bowl with popcorn, laying it in front of her. "Which one shall we start with?" She said in a funny voice.
I chuckled and looked at the movies in front of me. "I think..." I looked back and forth between the movies and then slammed my hand on one of them. "Fantasy."
I looked at Maya and she was giving me an raised eyebrow. "Harry Potter?" She asked knowing me so well.
I nodded. "Harry Potter."
She shrugged. "Let's do this then. But," she pointed her index finger at me when I sat down next to her under the sheets. "When Potter is done with his bibbidi bobbidi boo, I'll choose the movie."
I groan. "Last time Maya; it isn't bibbidi bobbidi boo. That's Cinderella."
She shrugged. "So what? Are they magicians?" I nodded. "Do they have wands?" I nodded again. "Then it sure is bibbidi bobbidi boo to me."
I gave up. "Fine. Bibbidi bobbidi boo it is." It's no idea to keep this conversation going, Maya is stubborn and she won't stop until she gets what she wants.

"WATCH OUT HARRY! NOO!" I screamed while watching the horrific scene in front of me.
"RILEY SHUT UP, MY EARS ARE BLEEDING!" Maya screamed back at me.
I took up the sheets to my face, ready to cover it. I love Harry Potter and I've watched all the movies and read all the books. Some would call me obsessed, I call it in love. But, when it comes to the sad scenes when he is fighting and near getting dead, I always end up getting doubts.
"YES! HE DID IT! I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT HARRY BAB-OUCH! Maya!" I looked over at Maya, who just hit me on my head. She was narrowing her eyes at me and shaking her head.
"Not cool, Riles." She said.
I looked at her with furrowed brows and tilted my head to the side. "What did I do?"
She opened her mouth to answer but right when she was about to speak the door flew open. We both screamed and covered ourselves with the sheet. "Girls, why are you screaming?"
We looked up from the sheets and there stood my uncle Josh. Josh is three years older than us he always comes and visits us on the weekends. He doesn't live that far away from us, a few hours away maybe. He is the sweetest uncle you could wish for and he always helps me and Maya out with anything. Auggie looks up to him and sees him as a big brother.
