Riley's POV.

             Beautiful.

That's how I usually described my dreams. In them I was fearless, a ray of sunshine, happy, smiling, a princess. Everything was perfect; the ball room, the people chatting and dancing, the music, the moonlight. Usually I would be standing in the dance floor, dancing with a beautiful stranger.

But last time I did that, the stranger was Lucas.

Beep.

Beep.

BEEP!

I woke up by the sound of my alarm clock and when I openly my eyes and turned it off, I laid still looking up at the ceiling.

Now, I was scared. I was scared of meeting Lucas in my dream, him telling me what I did. Him playing with me in my dream. I wanted peace and that's not what I've gotten the last two weeks. Yes,most been two weeks. Two weeks of bad sleep and dreams. In every dream Lucas had showed up and it had all repeated; what happened at the football field.

I have been trying to push him away from my mind, make sure I didn't think of him while I was sleeping. But it was no use, he would always come back. He was like a boomerang; I tried throwing it as far away from me as possible but it would always come back.

"Riley, hurry up or you'll be late for school!"

My mom yelled from the kitchen and I pulled away the sheets from my numb body, sitting up. I looked around my room before really getting up and putting some clothes on and going to the bathroom to brush my teeth and my hair. I looked closely at myself in the mirror and I saw bags under my eyes.

"Just amazing." I said with a sigh and walked out of the room into the kitchen. My mom was making breakfast and Auggie was sitting at the table, reading one of his superman fictions. "Good morning." I said and smiled at them. Even though I've gotten really bad sleep, I wouldn't take it out on my family.

Auggie looked up and grinned, "Good morning, Riles!"

My mom turned around with a plate filled with toasted bread and a smile. "Hello sweetie. Did you sleep well?" She sat down the plate and walked over to the fridge to get some juice.

"Yeah," I sat down. "I slept perfectly." I smiled and took a bread. I put some marmalade on it and ate it.

Our heads snapped towards the door when we heard a knock, "RILEY ITS ME, MAYA!" I chuckled and walked over to the door to open it. Mom and Auggie went back to their morning habits and I opened the door, revealing a happy Maya.

I raised my eyebrows, "You seem happy." She nodded but didn't say anything. "Because..." I trailed off, waiting for her to talk. She knows I don't like to play this game, but still she leaves me with no choice but to play.

He smile grew wider, "Mrs. Matthews, we are leaving for school now!" She yelled to my mom and looked behind me.

"You don't want breakfast, Maya?"

She shook her head, the smile still plastered on her face, "I've already eaten, but thank you!" That's when she dragged me outside and out of the apartment. I tried stopping her but she was way to strong for me to handle.

"Maya, what's going on!?" I was getting frustrated because she didn't tell me why she was smiling like a creepy creep creep and that she was literally dragging me to school. Maya halted to a stop and I hit her back with my front, making me stumble back, almost falling. She turned around and looked at me with that creepy creep creep face and I shivered.
