Riley's POV.
"Have you seen Lucas, Farkle?"
"No," he shook his head in disappointment. "No, I haven't."
I've been searching everywhere for him; the gym, cafeteria, football field, library. I'm not really sure why I looked in the library, I just wanted to find him. He's been acting weird, running around, talking in the phone all the time. But still he hasn't answered any of my calls. I asked Maya and Farkle for help but none of us found him.
"Where are you, Lucas." I whispered under my breath.
"Riley, I'm sure he is here somewhere." Farkle tapped my shoulder. "I mean, where could he possibly be?"
"You're right." I smiled up at him. "Maybe if we lo–"
"I know you want to, Lucas."
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "Is that.." I slowly walked to the corner of corridor and looked over at the lockers where I saw Missy with, "Lucas?"
"I don't." Lucas was close to Missy, a few inches away from her to be more exact. He was looking down at her, but I couldn't see the expression in his eyes.
"You do." Missy's eyes were sparkling, like she and Lucas had something. She was looking at him with those big brown eyes.
Whatever they were talking about, it looked intense.
"Kiss me."
My eyes widen and my mouth fell open. "Kiss me." When I heard those words come out of Missy's mouth, my heart felt like sinking. My eyes were glued on Lucas, waiting for him to step back. To tell her that he loves me. That he wouldn't do that to me. That he wouldn't hurt me after all we've been through to get what we have.
All my hopes and questions got answered when their lips met. I felt my heart sinking inside of me. Everything around me went pitch black and all I could see was Lucas and Missy. The world had stopped.
I felt tears running down my face, my throat felt dry and I felt like breaking down. I turned around with tears but no sound. I didn't feel like talking or making some kind of sound.
"Riley," I looked up at Farkle. He looked at me with pity in his eyes. "There must be a reasonable explanation to this."
I shook my head. "He....he...I.." I closed my eyes. "I really thought that maybe there could be something. That maybe his words back at the masquerade ball meant something." I didn't have the strength to look behind me. It hurt. "I was w..wrong." I ran past Farkle and I kept running without stopping.
I needed air.

Lucas' POV.
When Missy leaned in and kissed me everything cleared up. It wasn't Riley, it was Missy. The way her eyes shone and how big and brown they looked; I imagined Riley. But it was all wrong.
I pushed her away from me. "What the–"
"You enjoyed it." Missy smirked.
I was furious. "Don't you dare do that again!" Fear flashed through her eyes. "I love Riley! I want nothing to do with you, Missy! I know we did stuff when I first came here, but it's different now. I'm different. Riley changed me and I don't want to loose her for you." I spat out.
