For AmyLove98, for reading everything, and taking time to support it, too!

I do not own the Percy Jackson series. I own Destiny, Carolyn, Erin, and Madisyn, and the plot. Thanks, and have a good day!

My parents had always lived an abnormal life. And here I was, ready to follow in their footsteps. I’m future ruler of the world, in control of everything. Daughter of two amazing demigods-turned-gods. And just how do I do it? I’m Destiny Jackson, of course.

“Destiny!” Mom called from her and Dad’s room on Olympus. I walked in, and sat on her bed.

“Yes?” I asked her, with a smile on my face. I was technically only three years old, but being immortal somehow helped me age and mature faster: both mind and body. I now was the equivalence of a fifteen year old girl. If I was a demigod, I would probably already be killed by monsters by now. However, that was not me. Of course, I could stop the aging at any time, or slow it down, but Mom and Dad felt this was best for the present time.

Dad walked into the room, a bright smile on his face.

“Destiny, we’ve decided something.” My sea-blue eyes tinkled with curiosity. I nervously ran my fingers through my curly blonde hair, which was the same shade as my mother’s.

“We want you to learn how to use your powers, so we’re going to send you to Camp Half-Blood during the summer (which was now, it was June 4th), and during the regular year, we’re going to send you to school- the same one as Carolyn. You’re going to be in the same grade as her! Of course, you’ll have to slow down your aging until you finish high school, but then you can be the same age as Harry!”

Surprisingly, Mom and Dad were completely okay with the whole weird ruler-of-the-world thingy. They didn’t mind my fast aging, either, though many parents would be freaking out, like, “Oh my gods! My daughter is growing up so fast!”

My already saucer size eyes grew to a dinner plate. Besides Artemis and Thalia, Carolyn was really my best friend, considering I didn’t get out of Olympus much. Only to visit Nico and Rachael, Grover and Juniper, family, and Madisyn and Erin. If you don’t know, Madisyn is my Mom’s half-sister (a daughter of Athena and good friend), and Erin is also her friend, a daughter of Ares.

“When do I leave for camp?” I exclaimed, jumping up and down. (Like I said, I don’t get out much)

“Today.” Mom answered, and then glanced at the door. “We don’t have a lot of time before Erin comes with the Pegasus for you and her. I packed you some things. Want to go tell everyone bye quickly before you leave?”

“Sure.” I smiled, and walked outside, where Grandma Jackson and Grandma Chase were waiting, as was Grandpa Blofis, and Grandpa Chase. Grandpa Poseidon and Grandma Athena were there, too. I hugged all of them.

                “Bye, guys!” I said, nervously.

Mom read my mind and said, “Don’t worry; you’ll do fine, Destiny.  Just remember your name.”

I thought of my name and of the prophecy that lie before me. There will be a child born on a Sunday… I wondered if I would discover my fear at Camp Half-Blood. I hoped not. There did not need to be, as in the words of the prophecy, ‘a huge dismay’ there.

Just then, Erin swooped down on a Pegasus. I had learned to ride at an early age, being the daughter of Percy and granddaughter of Poseidon, I could also understand animals of the horse sort, such as a zebra, horse, Pegasus, etc.

“Hey Miss Destiny,” they both greeted me.

“It’s just Destiny,” I reminded them. Carolyn raised an eyebrow, and dad acknowledged it, “Poseidon, Destiny, and I can talk to the horses,” he explained.

“Oh.” Carolyn gave a weak smile, and I felt bad for her, because I could see a hint of jealousy in her eyes. We were best friends, but still, why was I the goddess and she the mortal? I knew what it felt like, not personally of course, but I could imagine it. I was quite imaginative. And this led me to lots of reading and lots of writing.

“So, what are their names?” I turned to Erin, but more intending the comment to the pegasi.

“Yo. My name’s Blackheart. I’m the son of Blackjack,” commented the black-coated one. Percy raised his eyebrows.

“How is old Blackjack doing, anyway?” He inquired.

“Good as always,” said Blackheart.

“And your name?” I asked the gray Pegasus.

“Alexandria,” she responded shyly.

I smiled and mounted Blackheart, as Erin was already on Alexandria. Waving, we flew away, soon to be arriving at a place that would most certainly be a part of my Destiny: Camp Half-Blood.
