Part 16

(A/N don't own the music, but still cool :3)

~~Joey's POV~~

Cause I was tested and proved myself as a great warrior I was place behind Seto... great.

The rebel force had special ways of getting information around with a series of hand signals and animal calls. So far nobody has gotten caught but, a lot of people are expecting me to kill councilmen Seto and the rest of the skilled fighters. They were on horses and I walked behind them.

My hands were already shaking. I couldn't kill Seto... but I had to... but... I... UGH!

"Stop making those facial expressions." Seto yelled at me.

"Why?" I snapped.

"Cause you remind me of somebody I use to know. Disobey me and you'll be punished!" he snapped.

I put my head down. He can't recognize me, I can't let him.

~~Yugi's POV~~

I sighed and put on a white cape that matched my mask perfectly.

Yuma ran into the room panting "Yugi!... The Pharaoh... and his army!" I put a finger over his mouth.

"I know." I said and jumped down the trees.

This would be the first time I met the Pharaoh face to face-

as enemies.

~~Atemu's POV~~

We arrived at the base of the mountains, I was surprised to see nobody there. Only a person wearing a white cape with a hood covering his face.

He looked up and I saw his white mask.

"Where are your armies!" I shouted.

He didn't say or do anything for a while. Then he picked up his bow and shot an arrow the was aimed straight for me. However it missed and hit Seto's horse.

All of the sudden I heard battle cries coming from my own army. They sounded like bird calls and they started attacking each other!

I turned and saw white mask running.

"You all fix whatever's going on within my army. I'll go after white mask!" I said and followed the white mask on horse.

I had to stop him before he ran back into the forest. I threw a daggar and managed to hit him in the foot.

He stopped and aimed his bow straight for me.

~~Joey's POV~~

When Yugi shot the first shot at Seto's horse everyone of the rebels started killing off the Pharaoh's soldiers.

I went for Seto. He got up within seconds and we started fighting.

Flashbacks of us fighting under the tree in the Pharaoh's garden came back to me. Only this time we were fighting with real swords and had a real intention of killing each other.

I started crying and he blocked all of my strikes.

~~Seto's POV~~

What. Is. Happening! It was complete chaos! I was fighting with the blond soldier right behind me. I had to admit he was a pretty good fighter, but I couldn't get over this weird deja vu feeling.

Upon closer inspection I noticed that my opponent was... crying?

"Why are you crying? Your the one who attacked me!" I said and started fighting offensively. The soldier didn't say anything.

I managed to catch him my suprise and strike his chest ripping his tunic. He jumped back making his hood fall from his head.

I froze. A sapphire necklace shone in the sun on his neck.

"Puppy..."

~~Yugi's POV~~

Pain shot up threw my body. I turned and saw Atemu jump off his horse and run at me with his sword.

I aimed my bow and took a deep breath.

no...  I can't kill the person I love the most.

I dropped my bow and let him run his sword threw my body.

~~Atemu's POV~~

When he dropped his bow I knew this was my chance.

"FOR YUKI!!" I shouted and stabbed his side.

White masks body fell to the floor and the white mask feel off alone with his hood.

My body froze. I couldn't move for a second. I saw the familiar spiky hair and amethyst eyes stare up at me.

"Yuki..." I said in shock.

He smiled as the tears rolled down his face. I stood there still taking it all in.

"I... love... you..." he said and closed his eyes. I watched as his head fell to the ground.
