As Sean and his friends walk across the noisy parking lot of Middleton High, Andy and Deek's pace is suddenly halted by Sean frozen in place staring towards the school door. The doors he'd had walked through many times before, were now host to the most beautiful girl in Sean's entire world, Caroline Rivia. Caroline had transfered to Middleton near the end of Sean's freshman year when her parents had moved to North Carolina for work; but Sean couldn't care less why she had come to his dopy little city, but he loved her. Sean was always Jamie's target when he wanted to start something with someone. " Watch it Cletus, I'm not in the mood for your bullshit today." Infuriated by Sean's retort, Jamie spits his dip into Sean's face and walks away. When Sean returns his gaze to the door, Caroline has already left and Sean follows suit with an aggressive pace towards the door. Sean glanced at his new schedule for the upcoming year and began his school day, while secretly making note of which classes he and Caroline shared
