Sean was literally dancing in his bed. His upper torso gyrating with his arms keeping opposite rhythm. For a guy so off his tits on morphine, Sean wasn't doing too awfully bad. Rose catches a glimpse and immediately thinks 'seizure'. She go to the end of Sean's bed and looks straight into Sean's giddy, drug fueled smile, and says, "What the hell are you doing Seanie?" She attempts to break his euphoric state by whistling at him, hitting him, hitting him some more, and then one more time for good measure snaps him out of it."Stay with me Seanie, what is wrong with you?" Suddenly a large grin came over Sean and he began laughing like v an insane person. He stifled his chuckling and finally spoke. "Caroline said she loved me. She's the one that called just now. Rose she said she loves me, like without hesitation. I just went with it, it kinda just felt natural or something. You know I was skeptic about this at first, but I think it may just come to fruit.. Fruijisg. What's that fuckin' word I can't say?" Sean stammered. "Gorgeous?" Rose asked. "No the other one that sounds like fruit cushion." "Fruition Seanie?" "Yeah that bitch. That's what it's gonna do." Sean said while falling back n into his hospital bed now propped up a bit so he could lie back and still be sociable. "I really do think it'll work Rose I really do." "I hope so Sean, I honestly do." Sean smiled widely at Rose who smiled back and Sean closed his eyes, not to sleep, but just to think. But this was a bad idea. Sean was always a worrier. He had anxiety, but he wouldn't allow the doctors to prescribe him any medicine he said he'd just 'get over it eventually'. Well sometimes he just couldn't 'get over it'. Sometimes he just became so full of raw unbridled emotions, that the levee gave way. He began quietly sobbing, writhing his hands over his face and throughout his short, dark brown hair. He managed to not wake Rose who had dozed off for a while. He lay there staring at the ugly white hospital ceiling, thinking. Thinking about everything he did wrong. If he had only been quicker and asked Caroline that day on the soccer pitch. Sean went from a podium to the ditch in less than half an hour. From the best thing that ever happened, to reliving his errancy. Eventually his sobbing awoke Rose. She noticed the tears streaming down his face and immediately rushes to the side of his bed and kneels to the floor. She grabs Sean's hand and looks him in the eye, "What's wrong Sean?" She asked nearly in tears herself. "I don't know Rosie, everything, really. I just... I don't know. Just.... everything I've ever done wrong in a relationship just came flooding back at me for some reason, and I can't stop crying." "Seanie you know damn well that none of this was under your control, you don't need all this stress, Sean. That's in the past, you can't worry about that, just learn from what you had a choice in, not the dogmatic situations with only one solution." Rose said before hugging Sean's head to her shoulder. Sean finally hugged back after a while, and they separated. Sean dried his eyes on his sleeves before returning his gaze to Rose who is running her fingers through her long blond hair. She looks up and meets his glance. "Thanks Rosie, ya know I'd be screwed without you right?" "I'm sure you'd make it some way Sean. I mean..." "No Rose, I really wouldn't. I trust you, that's not something I find in a lot of people. I appreciate you, I won't abuse something like what we have together. I trust you fully with anything I tell you. And your secrets are safe with me as well." "Thank you Sean, that really means a lot that you would say that." Rose said with a generous smile. "Oh god, I need sleep or something else, I don't know what I need." Sean said while rubbing his face, stopping to scratch at his neck beard. "Try some sleep Seanie, we'll talk some more tomorrow." Rose said while brushing back her hair from her face. "Hey Rose, thanks." "No problem Sean, sleep well." Rose said while returning to the empty bed beside Sean. Sean let the bed back down to level and was asleep in seconds.
