As Sean pulled into the Mcdonald's parking lot, he saw Rose's car parked outside. After Sean parked his car, he strolled through the front door, and straight into Rose. Sean and Rose were great friends. Rose was also the only one Sean had told beside Andy and Deeks about his feelings toward Caroline. Sean colloquially referred to her as his "wing-woman". Rose and Sean were like a relationship but without the relationship. Neither had problems with the others frivolous advances, usually only meant for humor or compassion. But sometimes, Sean nor Rose could shake the feeling that there, at one time at least, could have been something more. Sean and Rose take a seat by the window after ordering and begin musing about the first day of a new school year as Juniors. Rose, however, is able to see through Sean's "faces" as she calls them. Subtle actions such as running his hands through his hair or the downcast look in his eyes. " Alright, come on. Spill it nerd. What's wrong?" Sean replied," My hopeless romanticism has once again left me in the muck and mire of my own expectations." " In English Seanie." " Im a hopelessly romantic fuck-up who dreams of situations that are not likely to happen." Sean hastily says while downing the last of his fries. "So it's Caroline, should've known." Honestly Seanie, there's something I need to tell you." " Oh really?" Sean inquisitively replied. " Ya see, Caroline sorta, ya know, might have found a boyfriend after band. That's why she was gone so early instead of waiting for the bus." As Sean heard Rose's warding report, he felt his emotions spin like the wheel of fortune. Angry, sadness, grief, regret; if you can name it, Sean probably was spinning past it during his mini breakdown in Mcdonalds."Sean? Ya alright pal?" Sean offers no reply, only stares out the window at the sullen gray rain clouds that have began bathing the town. After many more attempts to make Sean talk to her, Rose tells Sean to call her later and talk it over, she entices him with the promise of more information about Caroline's boyfriend. Sean is still motionless in the window as Rose pulls away from the parking lot. As Sean gathered the will to finally leave, he gathers his thoughts and takes a drag on his vape pen before departing. When he arrived home, he hid his vape pen in the console, and retreated into the house straight to his bedroom. Anxious to remove himself from everything for a few hours, he fell into his bed fully clothed and fell into deep thought. Thousands of what ifs went through Sean's mind before he emerged from his room at 7 o'clock to get dinner. He then returns to his room to wile away the hours, till the morning comes creeping.
