As I entered the room the air got cold, I started to shiver as I got goose bumps. It was so cold I could see my breath in the air. I was just standing there and I heard breathing from behind me, I was so scared I tried to turn around but I just couldn't! As the breathing got closer I got more scared and it got so close I could feel it on my neck; at this point I just wanted to scream and run but when I tried to scream I couldn't my throat was dry and so I ran. When I finally stopped running I found myself down the road on the sidewalk. I turned around and looked toward the house, and then I saw her, her face was in the window of the second floor and when I saw her I started to walk backwards away from the house keeping my eyes on her.

Then I bumped into something, or someone as I turned around I was so happy to see Angela, she was my best friend, but when she saw my face she knew something was wrong, she caught me before I fell and asked me, "What's wrong Sarah?"

I told her and she looked up at the window and saw no one. She looked at me with a puzzled look on her face, "Sarah what are you talking about there is no one there." When she said that I quickly turned and looked and saw no one. That's when I fell to the ground and passed out. The next morning I woke in the hospital and as I sat up in the bed trying to gather my thoughts Angela came in with coffee, she saw I was awake and rushed to put the coffee down and gave me a hug.

I asked what had happened last night and why I was in the hospital and as she told me it all came back to me and I looked up at her, "Angela I'm not crazy she was in that window I swear. I saw her right before I ran into you!"

"But I didn't see her," said Angela.

"She was there. Right before I backed into you I was looking at her!" Angela was shocked at how sure I was about seeing her in the window. She eventually said she believed me; probably because Angela knew I couldn't act.

The doctor came in and loudly said, "Sarah Marie Patterson you are now being released just go to the front desk and sign yourself out." I grabbed my coat, my coffee, and my purse and proceeded to the front desk, Angela was on my heels.

When we got out of the hospital I didn't know what to say and I had nowhere to go, but the only thing I did know was that I didn't want to go back to that house. I started to think about the other sorority girls and I knew I had to go back. I didn't know what I was going to do but I had to do something.

Just then Angela tapped me and I snapped back to reality. Then Angela asked me to go with her to her parents' house for the weekend and get my mind off of things. I agreed to go because thankfully they only lived 20 minutes away! So Angela and I went back to the house, I was so afraid to be back, at least I wasn't alone this time! Angela saw that I was scared so she helped me pack very quickly. Then we went to her room down the hall and packed her things. I could tell she was trying to hurry to get me out of the house. We were done packing and out of the house in record time. We were pulling away as I looked in the rear view mirror up to the second floor and I didn't see a thing. I started to wonder if last time I was just imagining things, but how could I when I had seen her more than once? Only I knew her dangers and only I could stop her! Just then the car came to a quick stop.

I turned to Angela, "We're here already? It's been 20 minutes?"

She answered me with a perplexed look, "Yes," she said as she opened the door. I got out and proceeded to the truck with her to get all of our things. After we had got all of our things I looked up to her parents' house and my mouth dropped in amazement. She noticed I wasn't walking beside her so she turned around, saw my face, and started laughing then she came and jerked my arm for me to go already. She opened the door to the big foyer and it was breath taking. Then her parents came out to greet us and so Angela introduced me and we went up to her room as she opened the doors again I was amazed, I walked in and she was still laughing.

We put our things down and she walked me to her brother James' room to introduce us. I shook his hand and was stunned at how perfect he was. His jaw line was flawlessly chiseled, his hair so beautiful and I just wanted to run my hand through it.

We went back to Angela's room and started to unpack. As we unpacked I stopped and looked up towards Angela, "Is there any way we can stay longer, just a little while, please?"

She paused to think, "Yes but you realize it's going to be 20 minutes here and back for a few days right?" I hadn't thought about that.

"Yes and I'll pay for the gas just please!"

"Alright and no you're not going to pay for the gas my parents will pay."

"Alright, thank you," I said with a smile. As we were sitting on the bed, folding our clothes neatly into the drawers I realized that I didn't have my mother's necklace or my sister's anklet, so I started frantically searching my bags.

Angela asked, "Is everything okay Sara?" I didn't answer so she repeated herself louder this time sounding agitated.

I stopped and looked up, tears in my eyes, "I don't know," I said with a troubled look on my face. "I don't have my mom's necklace or my sister's anklet," I stated feeling defeated.

She got up and walked over to me, "Well I'll help you look."

"No, they're gone, the only things I had left of them and they're gone."

"Sara I'm so sorry, can you tell me what happened?" Just then I had a flashback to the day of the car crash. I broke down in tears from thinking about it, Angela came and held me as I told the story.

"Seven years ago when I was sixteen my mom was driving me and, Crystal, my eighteen year old sister to school. It was a really pretty day, so we all planned to meet up at the park for a walk after school. On the way to school, Crystal and my mom got in an argument over Crystals stupid boyfriend and my mom ran a red light. A truck hit the driver's side of the car which my sister also happened to be on the side in the back. All I remember is waking up in the hospital and the doctors telling me that my mom and sister were killed instantly and I'm lucky that I was even alive."

Angela was crying at this point and between sobs she whimpered, "Did you feel when it hit? Did you feel any pain?"

I answered, "No, but after it hurt. My skull was cracked and my whole arm was almost crushed.

"Oh" said Angela, "I'm sorry for bringing it up."

"It's alright," I said as she wiped my tears away.

"So what do you want to do today, bowling, movies, anything, my treat?" Angela said.

"I don't know can I just rest for right now I'm still kind of tired, I'm sorry," I said.

Angela replied, "It's fine, you've been through a lot today, I understand."

"Thank you, night."

"Night," said Angela as she walked out and shut the door behind her.

So I know this isn't that great but if you haven't read my Teen Fiction book, Fierce Intentions, it is better, I promise.
