Anna grabbed Jessie's hand to help her onto the deck of her sailboat. The sun heated their skin as the cool breeze attempted to cool it. Anna's hand dwarfed Jessie's in size and she suddenly thought about the last time they had gone sailing together. She glanced to the sky to look for any sign of an approaching storm but saw none. She quickly adjusted her short white cargo shorts and pulled off her black v-neck t-shirt to reveal her new dark blue string bikini top. It accentuated her average sized chest and contrasted her bright blonde hair perfectly. She reached into her pocket and pulled out her dark sunglasses and put them on the shield her green eyes from the brutal glare of the sun. Anna had already released her hand and began to tighten and loosen a series of cords that would allow them to set sail. Jessie sat down on a cooler than Anna had just set down on the left side of the boat.

"So your parents don't mind you taking their boat out to woo pretty girls?" Jessie asked with a raised brow. Anna laughed as she removed the rope that held them to the dock and gently shoved the small boat backwards from it. She then maneuvered the boat out of the harbor, and once they were adrift in the water Anna motioned for Jessie to join her by the wheel. Jessie stood and cautiously walked closer, always wary of Anna and her intentions.

"So I told you that my parents cut me off, right?" Jessie nodded and sat beside Anna in a small chair. "The good thing is that this boat was a gift. For my 18th birthday. My father taught me how to sail when I was barely tall enough to walk. We always shared that. It bonded us. But when they found out I was gay, everything that we used to do together kinda just stopped. I don't regret my decisions. I just wish that they would love me despite it all." Anna said with a sad smile. Jessie watched the boat get closer to a small private beach and she smiled.

"Are we going there?" Jessie asked, slightly excited. The water was clear and the sand shown in the sunlight. White sand had always been Jessie's favorite.

"Yeah. Of course." Anna said as she took down the sail and set anchor. They couldn't go any further in without risking getting stuck. Anna promptly pulled off her shorts and t-shirt and dove cleanly from the boat into the shimmering water. Jessie laughed as Anna's head broke the surface of the water and she shook her dark hair to free it of some water with a smile. Jessie stepped out of her shorts and followed Anna into the cool water. It held a bit of the cold from the series of storms recently but Jessie didn't mind. It helped cool her too hot skin. She giggled and raced Anna to the shore. Anna won and Jessie could hardly breathe from laughing. Jessie threw her now soaked body onto the white hot sand. The grainy sand felt incredible between Jessie's toes. She smiled as Anna sat beside her and peered up at the blue, cloudless sky. Anna frowned slightly. Jessie caught the look on Anna's face and had to ask her about it.

"Why the frown? It's a lovely day outside." Jessie asked lightheartedly as she stood and brushed the sand from her body. She was careful to not invest herself in Anna. After all, she could only lead her down the road to heartache.

"I was just thinking that I don't remember the last time I have felt so content to just sit with a girl." Anna commented. Jessie paused mid swipe to look down at Anna's face. All she could see was earnestness. Anna abruptly stood and seemed to search Jessie's eyes for something. Whatever it was she wanted, she found because she suddenly closed the distance between the two of them. Jessie felt a jolt of awareness as their lips met. She wanted to resist but her body responded immediately. She stood stunned for a moment before Anna's hand went to cup the back of her head and her other hand gripped at her waist. Jessie felt lightheaded. She almost knew that kissing Anna would be like that. Much more than lust, Anna threw herself into the kiss. She could almost taste the passion and need on her lips. She sighed slightly and Anna took the opportunity to slip her tongue into Jessie's mouth. Anna tasted like heat. Jessie could honestly say that she had never known what passion had tasted like until she tasted the soft, hot, slightly minty essence that was Anna. Jessie's hands sought out Anna's waist and pulled her closer until the breasts touched and their bodies were pressed fully together. Cool water ran down their heated bodies. Anna's hand drifted to the band of Jessie's string bikini bottoms. Jessie shivered and a slight moan slipped from her mouth. She could feel Anna's smile against her lips. Slowly the pressure of the kiss faded and before Jessie wanted it to, it was over. Anna held onto her, as if the world was spinning and she needed to hold tight to Jessie for it to stop. And just as suddenly as the contact had started, it had ended. Anna smiled at Jessie who was still slightly dazed by their encounter. She had felt lust before. But she had never felt as if the world had shifted like she did now. She wanted to blame it on the fact that Anna clearly had a lof of experience, but she couldn't. She had felt something so much more than just want in their kiss. Something desperate. She shook the feelings away, because all they made her feel was more and more confused.

"I want to be with you Jessie. Just you. I want you to commit to me right now." Anna said in a soft voice. Jessie looked puzzled and confused. "I don't want anyone else. And I swear if I see you put your hands or lips on another girl again I may not be able to control myself." Anna said with a flare of her nostrils that showed her anger at the thought of it.

"But we barely know each other." Jessie said feebly. Anna cupped her face in her hands and looked her directly in the eye. When her blue eyes met Jessie's green ones she knew. She knew that she had to give Anna a try. Despite all her reservations and all she had heard. She didn't know when it had happened but she had fallen for Anna. It didn't matter that they didn't know everything about each other. Because they had a lifetime to learn it. She smiled as Anna gently kissed her lips to seal their promise.
