Sixteen years ago today, Steven privately celebrated the birth of his only daughter. He never went to see her after she was born because he wasn't ready to be a daddy. Not even now. After all, he was only thirty three. Guys his age were just now starting to have kids, but he already had a teenager.

Steven never sent money, either, because it made him feel like he was really a father. He didn't even try to find out her name. He knew it was horrible, but if he had just one wish, he'd wish that he'd never had a kid. He resented the idea of having the responsibility of a child. He just ignored it, hoping his duty would just fade away, which seemingly, it did. But guilt still remained.

Every now and then, Steven still wondered if he should at least send a card to wish his daughter a happy birthday. Nah, he would always shrug the idea off, it's been too long now. I'm sure she's got another daddy.

Steven set down his coffee after all of this thought to head out to the movie set. Bikes and Buds was still up and running, but they were on the final season. He wondered what he would do next with his life after the show ran out.

He wasn't really sure if he would make more shows or movies anymore. He already had all the money he would ever need, provided he lived responsibly and reasonably. He made $1.3 million per episode now, and he'd been doing hundreds of episodes. He was a millionaire.

Steven thought about all of his wealth and his daughter. Maybe I should send her a chunk of money. He thought. Maybe it will make up for the lost years? Maybe she won't expect anything from me?

The plan was uncertain, but all Steven knew was what did he have to lose in his relationship with his daughter anyways?
