Chapter 13: 7 Deadly Sins

Ryako and the others land on the battlefield a couple 100 meters away from Gaden battle. Gaden was able to hold his own long enough for reinforcements to arrive to the scene as he says "Ha, he's back". Ryako runs to Devien lifeless tattered body and he holds her in his arms with a tear slowly falling down his face as he begins to say in a very angered but emotional tone "I'm sorry... Devien I promise to never leave you again and to always protect you... I didn't know how important you actually were to me until Calin helped with my memories... I remember you and how much we fought and laughed... And your valiant effort to fight for me". Ryako heart begins to fall deeper into the darkness as he feels Devien heart has a feint beating to it as almost it was going to end shortly. To his surprise Devien opens her eyes and places her hand on his cheek saying "I love you Ryako and I'm glad to hear you say that to me after so many decades of waiting, Now bring out that inner demon of yours and go kick her Ass" and she falls unconscious and her heart beats begin to slowly fade away. Ryako eyes starts to change colors to a dark red as his body is boiling with rage and darkness, but Queen Yolanda begin to say "so you are the prized warrior of this Clan of yours, well If you want your life to end so shortly like that little Bastard in your arms right now then so be it but be warned you are embodiments of a lot of Sins----" Ryako cuts her off "SHUT Up!!! don't you dare call her out of her name". Ryako picks Devien off the ground and hands her to Takero and Calin. "Look I want you guys to heal her and put her under the treatment of Saerus to fully bring her back" says Ryako. Calin is shocked yet impressed that Ryako actually remembered an Ancient Redanian Healing Technique. "Woah woah, hotshot you can't fight the both of them... Hehe let me join you" says Takero. Ryako gives off a smile and fist bumps Takero to signaling the Reunion of the Ultimate Tag Team. Ryako rushes towards Yolanda with a shadowy punch that even the Queen couldn't see. Takero pulls out his Ice Dragon Sword launching towards Lilith with blazing fast speed. The both of them switch opponents mid-combo to catch the Angels off guard sending them flying into the nearby buildings. "Sins... I can see them deep inside your heart Lord Ryako The Harbinger of Death... It's weird to see a heart full of such hatred and darkness but yet you aren't overwhelmed with such power" says Yolanda. Ryako looks up at Yolanda with his devilish eyes resembling Devien, as he continues listening to the loud mouth queen. "Lust, Glutton, Pride, Greed, Wrath,
Envy, and Sloth... All 7 Deadly sins reside within your heart even Belial the Lord of Lies, or Azazel... Hahaha even Lucifer haven't even reached all 7 but you Ryako... You are quite special, you hold so much power and anger but you tend to care for these low life peasants you call humans and even that girl over there... I will Damn that heart of yours and the rest of this world you corrupted Lord Ryako". Ryako smiles again but this time it's a more sadistic evil smile as he says "Yolanda, I will steal your soul and kill you and I'll challenge any warrior you bring forth to me in order to protect someone I'm in love with and to protect my world from the corrupted minds of you so called Angels even if it means Fighting Jesus himself". Yolanda gets quite infuriated with what Ryako said and she fires a death beam of light aimed towards the unconscious body of Devien, a beam so fast no one could see it as Ryako and Takero and Gaden heads turn as they see the beam is going to hit Devien in which will kill her.

Will Devien Die for real and history repeat itself once again as Ryako fails to protect her? What are the meaning of Yolanda words to Ryako?
