Awe shit... Well Sunday I didn't see Tanner at all. I didn't text him or even call. I was trying to wean myself off of him. So today, Monday, would be interesting. I arrived to school with Lydia and Kate by my side. I saw him standing in the breezeway and instantly felt like an ass hole. I'd ignored all his texts and calls. Even the text "Kameron please tell me if you're okay I'm really worried about you." How could I have been so careless? I saw him walking towards me. Oh shit!
"Lydia. Kate. Morning ladies. Could you give Kameron and I a moment alone?" No. No. No. No. I'm silently pleading you telepathically. Please don't leave me alone with him. But sure enough they turned and walked away. "What's wrong? Are you mad at me? Because whatever I did I'm so sorry I never wanted to hurt you."
"I'm not mad. You didn't do anything."
"Then why are you not talking to me?"
"I'm scared. I'm scared to like you because you're so out of my league. And I've seen how my moms been treated by all of her past boyfriends and I just don't want to hurt you. And I travel a lot for swimming and practices start tonight and I just..."
"I'll still like you. I don't know how your mom has been treated but I promise I will always treat you like you deserve. And I will like you when you travel. No matter how far you have to go or how long you're away you can always count on me to be here for you when you come back." I looked at the ground scared to look him in the eye. "Hey princess, pick your head up. Your tiara is falling." I looked up at him and smiled. His eyes sparkled and he pulled me in for a hug. More people were entering the breezeway, but he didn't care. He just held onto me tightly. Some girls cast an envious glare in my direction. Others smiled as if to congratulate me.
