Part 1: Past

Every tribute awoke on the morning of the fortieth Monster Games feeling in one way or another, the same. Either ready to take what was thrown at them, or make their own destiny. They all knew what may happen, and they all had something they left behind, whether a friend, lover, their family, or something in their district.

What did you tribute leave behind?

Requirements;

You must include your tribute walking up and going to their reaping. You must include how your tribute was feeling before, during, and after being reaped (if your tribute volunteered, you must include them volunteering). You must include their good-byes to a select few individuals. It must end with your character leaving their district on the capitol hovercrafts.

If anyone is wondering, the Peacekeepers (called Guardians) of Monstrum are human. I hope some of you can use that to help include more emotions, as they are human! The monsters should have something interesting that they are thinking.

Word Limit; None (But please don't send me a novel!)

Due; Wednesday, September 4th 2013, 8pm CST

Part 2: Present

President Scarewell sits on a throne on a large balcony overlooking the wide, cobblestone street, he had considered getting the stones painted red to commemorate the age he should have died, and yet was still young, but had been convinced not to by his advisers. Something about how the monsters may not appreciate it as much as he thinks.

In front of him, on a platform much lower then his own, sits his three Game Makers, the ones he had chosen specifically for their skills, but more importantly; their opinion on Monsters. There was Kate, who despised them whole-heartily, although he wasn't sure if she liked anyone but him, as they shared a similar interest in blood being spilled. She was just like her mother, who Scarewell had thought was brilliant, and that was something coming from him.

The odd ones out were Marcus and Celina; while Marcus' eyes held distrust, they didn't hold hate, and Scarewell had been hoping that when he took the man in at age 22, that he would become more like himself, alas, it didn't happen. Celina on the other hand, loved monsters, and had an absolute curiosity about them, Scarewell figured she would be good as the Master of Ceremonies, just because she could make the monsters trust her.

Then again, it would be easier if she despised them.

Slowly, he slid from his seat, and took the offered microphone, looking around at the crowd that had gathered to see the first glimpse of the monsters they so despised since the Reapings 3 days before. Raising the piece to his cracked lips, he spoke, "Welcome to the fortieth Monster Games, let the Parade begin!"

Requirements;

You must explain what you are wearing on your districts Parade Float, unlike the Hunger Games that have chariots, Scarewell used the common holiday Parade, your floats are the size of a car, and are decorated to match your outfit and district. Remember, these were designed by humans, so these may make the districts out to be much nicer then they are.

You must include an interaction with your stylist- your HUMAN stylist- to show how your tributes feels around humans. Feelings while they are on the float should also be included.

Word Limit; None

Due; Wednesday, September 4th 2013, 8pm CST
