Task Four- Scary Surprises

There remain only 10, 9 stand between 1 tribute and survival, however, that can mean only one thing; more must die.

Scarewell stands before the holographic representation of the hundred mile arena, he knew this would excite the humans to many extents with the Corn Maze. He could already see the humans from all corners of Monstrum coming to view and tour it once these Games ended, to see where their favourite (or most fearful) monsters died, to experience first hand what they had seen. It was perfect.

"Many died in the first 2 days sir," came Kate's voice beside him, out of the corner of his eye he could see the slight smirk dancing upon her pale lips. It was enough to draw a small smile mimicking hers on his own face as he nodded, excitement bubbling within him as he imagined the 16 bodies already in cold storage, just waiting to meet the 9 more needed to stop him from feeling so weary.

Turning, he spotted the figures of Marcus and Celina, both of whom seemed preoccupied with arrangements for the next surprise he had to offer his monsters. "Is everything ready?" he questioned the man, watching as he slowly rose his head and gave a slight nod before going back to jotting notes down about the remaining monsters conditions.

"Celina seems unoccupied currently," Scarewell spun towards the young woman as Kate finished speaking and found she was right, what he had previously thought was a concentrated expression plotting the monsters demise, was in fact only a blank stare. Following her gaze, he saw she was focused on the paint covering his glorious statue in the arena. Just looking at it caused his blood to boil at having sponsored the horse girl.

"Don't you have work to do?" he asked Celina, his voice icy enough to cause her head to snap up in panic. She stared at him with wide eyes before quickly looking down and frantically looking through the papers sitting upon the lap of her flowery dress, one of the many Scarewell had forced himself not to destroy on sight.

"Uh.. Y-yes, everything is... r-ready I think," her voice came out softly in a stutter that made Scarewell know she was worried about something, yet before he could pinpoint it, Celina had turned away and was busing herself with carefully arranging his surprises throughout the arena with a touch to the 3D screen.

Scarewell watched for a moment and then allowed a small menacing smile to touch his lips, putting thoughts of how to convert Celina to his side out of his head. This would be perfect, completely perfect.

The Deaths;

I'm too lazy to write them all out, so basically anyone who wasn't listed on the pervious page with scores is no longer a part of these games because they didn't hand in. To clear up everything, 2 days has passed since the start of the games, meaning some of these tributes were bloodbath, others weren't, it doesn't really matter who though.

The Sponsored;

Due to the fact that there are only 10 people left, no sponsors have been given, however, Celina, being the kind person she is, has convinced Scarewell to allow the tributes a small give from home. Each tribute will get a picture of their family (this can be included anywhere in your entry, or not at all if you don't care.)

Your Task Requirements;

Scarewell has released a mass of Scarecrows (and I want super scary ones) into the arena, there are at least 2 for each tribute. At least 1 scarecrow must find you and chase you, if you have allies you must be separated (if you aren't you will loose one point from your score). If you meet up with your allies again, you must be injured at some point during either another tribute or by a scarecrow.

You must kill/ hear/ see 3 tributes die, these tributes can be killed by a scarecrow, but killing a scarecrow doesn't count as killing a tribute.

After your entry, please sent me a list of the tributes killed in your entry (only 3), as well as 1 ballot death (a private vote that can kill anyone and only I will know about who you sent it for.) This will give a total of 4 names sent to me.

Word Limit: Make it over 300 words.

Due Date: Friday, November 15th, 2013 8pm CST (PM me or google to find that in your own time zone)
