The Escape [ABLH]

Chapter 24

I pressed ones button, and balloons came out of the roof. The boys looks confused, but continued on playing.

I pressed another button, and confetti came out.

I turned off Ashton's microphone, then Luke's. You can barely hear his drums. Luke stopped singing, making the others stopped too.

Ashton got off from his little stool, and looked up. He pointed at me.

My eyes widened, and crouched down.

"I see you Emma!" Calum yelled using his mic.

I turned Ashton's and Luke's microphone, and ran out of that room.

"We'll um— be right back," I heard Michael said.

That's my cue to run.

There was a room where staff was hanging out. A guy came up to me, "You lost?" He said.

"No," I shook my head, "can I hide here?" They nodded.

Not long after, I heard footsteps running in the hallways. I was hiding behind the couch in the corner.

"Have you seen Emma?" Luke asks.

I'm guessing someone shook their head 'no', since the next thing I heard was a thanks from Calum, and more footsteps.

I stood up, seeing Luke stood still on the door way. He smirked.

"Found you!" He lunged out, missing me by an inch, and I ran out of the room.

I see the other boys' backs turned to me, and as I was about to go back, Luke was there.

I let out a squeak, and ran towards Calum and Michael who was still facing back, and Ashton who just went in one of the rooms.

I ran, seeing the stage. I ran out there, and the fans goes quiet.

I held my finger up to my lips, signaling them to hush up.

Then one girl had to yell out, "She's behind Ash's drums!" She is just like me.

I face palmed, as I got out of there, not forgetting to trip over some cords and wires.

They started to laugh, I tried to silence them. There was two entrances in the stage to go backstage.

Ash and Luke was in one, Michael and Calum was in the other. They were all blocking my way making me have no choice but to jump into the crowd.

I made it look like I jumped in the crowd, but in reality I jumped off stage, and hid where the guards are.

"Hi!" A girl said, "wait. Shush, they're coming." She said not moving her lips.

She made her friends shut their mouths. I am thankful for that. I'll make it up to her later.
