Chapter 56

~~~~~~~ October 5th: Changjo ~~~~~~~

"Chunji-Hyung, put this on~~!" I whined, pushing the suit at Hyung. He chuckled and accepted it.

"Is this new? It's really nice," he commented in surprise. "I'll go put it on then! Might as well look nice today!"

I nodded in agreement with a smile. Hyomin, Dongjin, Jiyeon, Woohyun, Kibum, and the Hyungs were talking in the living room and I sighed. We had managed to pull off our black tie event without them finding out. Chunji-Hyung had woken up early and we had all presented our gifts to him. The suit was Hyomin's second gift to him and it was perfectly tailored to his body.

Hyung's party was in about an hour and I was getting excited. Minsoo-Hyung and Byunghun-Hyung were going to be so surprised. It was going to be the best party ever! We had rented a ballroom in a hotel for his party and had spent hours doing dress rehearsal run-throughs with the guest who were supposed to come. Big Bang-Hyungs had graciously accepted our request for them to perform a song for Hyung. I was pretty sure it was due to Hyomin pestering Taeyang-Hyung and Daesung-Hyung for about two straight hours.

We would also be performing a song, Hyomin, Neil, Jiyeon, and I. It was getting closer and closer to our performance and party and the pressure was setting in slowly. "How do I look?" I stared at Hyung and my mouth fell open. He looked so good in his suit. I would have to remember to ask Hyomin to go suit-shopping for me from now on...

"You look great Hyung!" I exclaimed with a thumbs up. "Come on! Let's show everyone else!" He nodded in agreement and walked out into the living room.

"How do I look guys?" he asked everyone curiously, cocking his head to one side and smiling shyly. Jiyeon's mouth fell open in shock and I stifled my laughter.

"I think you just became my new crush," she stated bluntly. "Sorry Byunghun, it would have never worked between us."

He shrugged nonchalantly. "Hey, it's your life. It's a free country," he reassured with a chuckle. "I guess Hyomin is all mine now~~"

"Yah, no!" Neil exclaimed, hugging Hyomin defensively. "We all know she's going to marry Changjo and live happily ever after! >.<"

"SAYS WHO?!" Hyomin and I demanded in shock. He grinned sheepishly and then scratched the back of his head with a chuckle.

"I have your cards made," he whispered to me reassuringly with a nod.

"Hyung... -.-" I muttered with a sigh. "Anyway, Hyung, come on!" I told Chunji-Hyung excitedly. "We're taking you out!"

"Says who? We're taking him out!" L.Joe countered quickly, gesturing at himself and Minsoo-Hyung.

"No, we are," Neil insisted, grabbing Hyung's wrist.

"We are," Kibum told Neil, grabbing Hyung's wrist. The two began pulling poor Chunji-Hyung between them and I sighed and hung my head.

"Guy, why can't you all just take me out?!" Chunji protested with a pained expression. "Or even better, why don't I go with Changjo now and then I'll meet you wherever you want me to in a little while?"

"That's fine I suppose..." Minsoo-Hyung murmured in agreement. "We'll do that then. Go on and have fun Chunji! Happy birthday!"

"Thanks Minsoo! Come on Changjo!" I waved Hyomin, Jiyeon, and Dongjin after me eagerly and they grinned and stood.

"I'll drive guys!" Hyomin cheered as she walked out of the apartment.
