Chapter 16

~~~~~~~ Van: Woohyun ~~~~~~~

My head fell to one side as I began nodding off to sleep. The other members were snoring as the van we were in slowly proceeded through the traffic jam towards the airport. Kevin and Hyomin were talking softly as I attempted to force my eyes fully open.

"So, what did Dongho say?" I heard Kevin ask.

"He said that we need to work out relationship before the next red carpet walk. We shouldn't be living a lie to the public apparently... I don't see why it's such a big deal that I like U-Kwon when I've been faithful to Dongho since the first day," she replied, sounding obviously ticked off. I made the decision to continue pretending to be asleep and kept my ears trained on the conversation.

Kevin sighed and then asked, "Dongsaeng, do you remember what I told you that first day that I met you?" There was a mumble and he continued, "I told you that things would just get harder for you as long as you're involved with U-Kiss. This is no exception, alright? Things will always get better. I promise that. Just keep your head up and try to remember that we love you no matter what your decision is going forward."

"Yes Sunghyun-Oppa..." she murmured, sounding dejected.

He laughed and teased, "Just between you and me, I think Soohyun would be ecstatic if you and Dongho weren't dating anymore! ;p" They broke into giggles and I rolled around on the seat of the van to hide my face as I smiled.

Then, I turned back and stretched before opening my eyes and smacking my lips. "Hello guys, I see you're awake," I murmured, yawning.

"More awake than you were," Jingong snorted, amused. "Anyway, we're almost at the airport."

"Remind me again why we didn't just rent another limo to leave?" I asked her, slightly disappointed because when we went back to Seoul Kibum would be ferrying us around in our unflattering Hyundai i800.

"All of the fans know we're leaving today Woohyun. We don't want them chasing us to the airport, now do we?" she sighed with a sympathetic smile. I groaned and then shook my head. "Perk up Hyun-Woo! At least we enjoyed in the limo while we could, right?" I nodded regretfully and leaned back in my seat, jostling Kibum awake.

"What happened?" he question, disoriented from his nap. I laughed and rolled my eyes. "Oh, Hyomin, question." She cocked her head to one side and gestured for him to continue. Cube bent the laws so I'm still allowed to drive, correct?" She nodded in reply to his question.

"Doesn't that explain why Woohyun and I can drive too?" she laughed.

Jiyeon, eavesdropping on our conversation, sat up and said, "I can drive too, right Hyomin?"

Kibum teased, "Well, you CAN JiJi. However, that doesn't mean that you SHOULD! I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't trust you behind the wheel! :p"

"AISH! Kibum, you demon!" Jiyeon screeched, attempting to beat Kibum senseless as he laughed at her rage.

The rest of the members, awakened by the quarreling of K-Bum and Yeonnie, grumbled at the bickering duo as they continued their slap fight. I patted the frustrated Anti-Sseusyeoss as she restrained herself to keep from yelling at Kibum and Jiyeon.

This was going to be a very long and very irritating flight...
