Ender: A Minecraft Story

Ungrateful

I sat quietly on the roof of Steve's dirt house as the sun rose above the horizon. I could hear noise coming from inside, and I assumed that he would be coming out soon.
Sure enough, 5 minutes later he opened the door and walked out into the sunlight. He gasped when he saw what was before him.
A new house, almost identical to the old one, free of any lava or fire. "Holy crap..." He breathed. "How...?"
I grinned. He hasn't even noticed me yet. I nocked an arrow and shot it just above his head to get his attention.
"Misty!" He exclaimed as the arrow whizzed past him. He looked up at me. "What was that-" he paused, suddenly realizing. "Wait... Did you do that?"
I smiled at him in reply. "Look, I may be annoying, but I can be useful."
He sighed and went back into the dirt house to retrieve his bed. "I'm still not sure if I trust you..." He muttered. It seemed like he didn't want me to hear, but as an Ender being, I have great hearing.
I rolled my eyes and flew down I the ground. "Ugh, alright, now I'm bored again." I complained.
"Are you EVER not bored?" He asked angrily.
"Look, I can't survive on my own, so what am I suppose to do?" I replied pointedly.
He went into his house and came back out with a pickaxe. "Why don't you go mine some more for me?" He suggested.
I shrugged. "Whatever."
I went down to the mine and chose a spot deep down to start digging. As I was mining a block of iron a few minutes later, I heard faint footsteps behind me. I continued to mine, but carefully listened to the noise, which was growing closer each second. It was so faint, a normal human wouldn't have noticed it.
Finally, when the footsteps got so close that I could sense the attacker, I spun around and found myself face to face with Steve. He was holding his diamond sword high above his head.
He swung it down and I quickly pulled out my own sword and blocked it in the blink of an eye.
"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE THE MOST UNGRATEFUL BEING IN ALL OF MINECRAFT!!!" I seethed.
He took a step back.
"I BUILD YOU A WHOLE NEW HOUSE, GO MINING FOR YOU, WAS ABOUT TO BRING BACK 12 IRON, AND WHAT DO I GET? I GET YOU TRYING TO KILL ME!" I yelled in his face. Without thinking, I slashed my sword through him and he disappeared, his items exploding everywhere. Immediately I regretted it.
What was I suppose to do now, that Steve was dead, and I was left alone with no way back to the End?
Then I remembered what Steve had said. He would respawn. For a moment I found hope, then lost it when I realized that even if he did respawn, he'd never forgive me for killing him.
I instinctively brought all of his stuff back to his house and stored it in the chest. Maybe he would find this again someday, and he would get everything back.
Before I left, I took a sign from the chest and wrote a quick message.
"Dear Steve, if you ever find your way back to this house, I just want you to know that I'm sorry for killing you, and that it was just a mistake made out of anger. Ill probably be dead by the time you find this, but I just wanted to get that out there. Yours Truly, MsMisty, Ender Princess.

I hung the sign on the wall, then left.

Meanwhile...

Steve respawned back in his house, beside his bed, as always. 'God Misty!' He thought he had always knew that she would turn on him at some point.
She didn't seem to be here now, thank god. He got up and checked his chest. There was all the stuff... But he had died with it! How did it get back here?
Then he saw the sign on the wall. He read it over, then instantly felt bad. Misty had never wanted to kill him. It was all his fault in the first place. He had tried to kill her, when all she wanted to do was help.
Suddenly he felt a sharp pain on his head, and just had enough time to see a pair of glowing white eyes before he blacked out.

(Lol sorry for another cliff hanger! But don't worry, ill probably post another chapter in the morning. I'm also adding a new character to the story... You'll find out who it is soon. I'm only giving you one clue: she's evil. Haha I know Madsupersaiyan2002 already knows who I'm talking about!)
