Ender: A Minecraft Story

A player?! But a player hasn't come into the End for decades! How come this one finally came?!

I took a closer look. He was wearing a bluish-green shirt and jeans. He had dark brown hair. I flew a bit closer and drew back the string of my bow. Mom always told me that the only good player is a dead one.

I let the arrow fly but I was too distracted. It zipped over a mere centimeter from the player's head.

He whipped around and looked at me, fear in his eyes. He gasped and began to run the other way. I shot another stood at him, and it speared his hand. He let out a cry of pain and pulled out the arrow. I watched as he drew out his diamond sword and turned to me.

I kinda felt sorry for him. He looked so scared, like he knew he was going to die any second. He clutched his bleeding hand, lowering the sword for a brief second.

I didn't dare move. I didn't know if I should kill him or not. I had never actually killed someone before. There was no need to.

I decided to try and negotiate with him. After all, maybe he could tell me more about the outside world.

I dropped down to the ground and threw my bow to the side, trying to show that I wasn't going to hurt him. He froze where he was, not sure what to do.

"Wh- who are you?" He choked.

"My name is MsMisty," I said. "I'm not going to hurt you!"

"Umm..." He pointed at the bow that I had thrown over to the side. "But, you were just trying to kill me!"

I glanced back at the bow. "Instinct," I lied. How could it be instinct when I had never even seen a player before? I took a few steps closer.

"Your eyes..." He gasped.

"What about them?" I replied, even though I knew what he was going to say.

"They're glowing..." He took a step back. I was obviously freaking him out.

"I'm an Ender being. What do you expect?"

He gulped and didn't reply.

I took several more steps until I was right infront of him. He took a step back. I took a step forward.

Suddenly he swung his sword at my head. I ducked at caught his arm, swinging it around so he fell flat on his face.

"Ahh!" He screamed as he fell. He crawled backwards and reached for his sword, which had been flung away to the side.

I teleported to it and kicked it even farther away. "What the heck was that?!" I scolded. He had just tried to kill me.

"I thought you were going to kill me!" He panted. "And it looks like you are!"

"I'm not going to kill you!" I said, frustrated.

"Then why don't you just leave me alone?!" He cried.

"Because I want answers."

He paused for a second, not sure what to say to this. "Answers?"

"Yes." I replied sternly. "First of all, what are you doing in the End?"

"I came here to kill the Ender Dragon," he said. "Are YOU the Ender Dragon?"

"No! Do I look like a dragon to you?!" I cried.

"Well, you have dragon wings, so..."

I sighed. "Well, you won't be killing the Ender Dragon. He's my pet."

"Ok, I guess il just leave..." He went to get up. I picked up his sword and pointed it at him.

"You're not going anywhere," I said. "Now tell me, how did you get here?"

"I took the End Portal! Where else?"

"Where did you find the portal?" I asked.

"In a stronghold. There's only 2 or 3 in a world," he replied.

"Wait, there's multiple End portals?" I questioned. All my life I thought there was only one.

"Yes," he answered. "Don't you know anything?!"

"Look, I've never been out of the End. I've been dying to go, but I never have been able to," I sighed.

"Why not?" He asked, confused.

"My mother. She always prevents me from going."

"Really? You don't know how much you're missing."

"I know..." I sighed.

He looked at me. I watched him out of the corner of my eye but I don't think he noticed.

He sighed. "Ok, I'm willing to make you a deal. If you don't kill me, ill take you into the normal Minecraft world."

I gasped. "Deal!" I said, with barely a pause.

"By the way, my name is Steve," he said. "Now come with me."
