All I hear when I wake up is a beeping noise. When !y eyes open up I see my dad and Cayla.
"Daddy?" My voice sounds horse. I grab my throat.
Tears fill his eyes as he grabs my hand. Cayla hands me a much needed cup of water.
"Why aren't I dead?" I ask now sounding better.
"Honey, you were brought back by paramedics. You're alright." My dad reassures me
I want to speak but suddenly I get drowsy and fall asleep.
