~Recap~
Wow three friends for three brothers.
"Game on."
Abby's POV
We made our way back to our makeshift net and divided our group of eight people into two teams, that would change after every game. Team one: Me(team captain), Destiny, Diana, and James. Team two: Beau(team captain), Luke, Jai, and Skip.
"Alright who gets the ball first?" James asked, bouncing the ball in his hands.
"Rock paper scissors it." Replied Destiny. She was making her way up to the net to play but Diana ran up.
"NO LEMME DO IT." She hollers as she runs up and shoves Destiny out of the way.
Oh lord help this child.
The guys chuckle but it was no surprise to us that she did this. To our surprise Jai did the same thing to Beau when he was walking up.
"Rock paper scissors!" Diana chanted, she threw scissors while Jai had thrown Rock.
"Guys I thought I had this I swear." She says in astonishment of her loss.
"Good game there LILO." Jai says with a wink.
"Just wait till next time dork." She said in a menacing child's voice. Not threatening at all. We all laughed and got ready to serve.
It was Beaus serve and he hit it clean over the net and would've gotten the point if Destiny hadn't thrown herself last minute and saved it. She gets super competitive, we all do. These guys have something coming towards them.
(Honey you got a big storm coming...)
It was obvious they weren't expecting that so who would've thought that Diana spiked it straight over the net and towards the ground.
"ONE POINT GRYFFINDOR!!" She screams.
James laughed in surprise not expecting our dedication.
"Jesus guys where did you learn to play like this?" Luke said in amazement, Beau, Jai and Daniel with the same slack jawed expression.
"We played varsity in highschool and dabbled in sports since middle school." I reply getting ready for my serve.
"We also won championships for volleyball, soccer, Softball, and even football." Destiny adds.
"And some competitions for dance but other than that we were valedictorians for our class in highschool." Diana adds in lastly, to our list of accomplishments.
"Oh my god what did we get ourselves into. " says Daniel in a low voice.
"That's hot." say Luke and Jai in unison.
"We're still gonna win though." Says beau confidently with his arms folded over his chest.
"Oh really?" Says Destiny with a smirk. "We get very competitive."
"Let's make a bet." Suggests Jai.
"Losers buy the winning team icecream!!" Says Diana immediately afterwards.
"Sounds good." Everyone agreed.
We continued with our game and kept going for a few more afterwards. We only counted the last game as the Bet though.
"So Beau, Jai, Luke, and Daniel have to buy us ice cream!" Diana announces.
"YES!" Exclaims James. We all high-fived in Victory.
