Chapter 4

Diana's POV

I had gotten ready by 5:45 with the help of my beloved friends. Abby had done my makeup to perfection and Destiny curled the tips of my black hair with the wand I own. I used the outfit I had gotten at the mall and slipped on my TOMS. Daniil texted me not to long ago that he was on his way and couldn't wait to see me again.

He is just so perfect. I had liked him for a while now and we had gotten closer during the last year of high school. The problem was that his ex girlfriend Denise got way too clingy to him and caused them to break up. They had only been going out for 2 months before she began spreading rumors about them being do serious that he'd propose soon. Talk about being a creep. There had been rumors about him wanting to ask me out before the last semester ended but that he didn't want to risk our friendship...darn. I don't think I should believe rumors anyway.

"There, you look beautiful, don't be surprised if Daniil drools during your date." Abby says putting the final touch on my eyeliner.

"And he won't be drooling over the food." Destiny says with her knowing smirk.

"Thank you guys so much!!" I screech taking in my appearance in the mirror. Not only did I think I looked beautiful, I felt it. I always felt like the odd on out when it came to beauty in the group. Destiny and Abby were the ones that had boys at their feet while I was stuck admiring someone in secret because they never liked me back. Finding someone was always difficult for me because they either don't like me or they just hang out with me to get to Destiny and Abby. Sad, I know.

The door bell rang downstairs and Destiny ran to go open the door; Better than my mom, I thought. I quickly grabbed my bag and phone and headed down the stair case when I heard Destiny call my name. I saw Daniil standing by the door in a navy button up and jeans smiling at me as I made my way down.

"Bye guys!" I said giving hem their hugs.

"Use protection." Abby whispered in my ear as she slipped something in my purse.

"Stop!" I gasped as I gave her a shocked face. She just laughed in response and sent me on my way.

"Hey!" Daniil greeted me with a warm hug.

"Hi." I say melting into the hug. What can I say? He gives good hugs.

"Come on." he says leading me to the passenger side of his ranger rover. He opened the door for me helping me in before rushing to the other side and buckling in.

"I was thinking maybe we should go watch a movie? Then maybe go to Starbucks after." he suggests glancing at me before turning his head back onto the road.

"That's fine." I smiled taking in the view of him.

He had blonde hair and piercing green eyes. They weren't emerald, more like the ones that remind you of some mystical forest trees or something. I noticed he didn't really add product in his hair, it just fell onto his forehead and covered part of his right eye. The navy button up fit him well, showing the figure of his built body and nice collar bones. He wore simple converse on his feet, navy and white.

"Okay, what movie do you have in mind?" he says as we pull into the Parking lot of the local theatre.

"Let's watch...hmmmm The Marked Ones?" I suggest. I don't really like scary movies but Abby has watched it many times and said it wasn't that scary, if anything it was funny, so why not? I'm pretty sure Daniil wouldn't want to watch frozen or Maleficent so yeah...I was a sucker for Disney movies.

"I've been wanting to watch that one!" he beams, giving me the chance to watch his marvelous smile. "You sure you won't get scared though?" he teases, pulling into a parking space.
