Chapter 5

Abby's POV

Diana had come home from her date happy as ever so I made her spill everything about what happened, it wasn't that hard considering that she was really jubilant about it already and couldn't wait to share.

She told us about the movie, the challenge they proposed, the lap sitting, all the way to what they had talked about during dinner. She seemed so happy about today's events and she couldn't stop asking us to pinch and see if this was all a dream. He makes her really happy and I was glad to see that there was still some silver linings to our clouds. She had a lot of trouble with admiring guys who couldn't even bother to acknowledge her sweet and kind gestures, maybe Daniil is the one for her and will actually praise what he has with her. I love Diana as a younger sister Destiny and I had already talked about this prior to her arrival.

-the talk-

"I'm just worried about the outcome of this, I care about her more than my own sister, I just don't want her header to be broken." She says with an exasperated sigh.

I understand where she was coming from, Destiny and I have both been through a lot; whether it was dealing with family, bitches, or guys that we had gone out with (break ups). Both of us have had bad memories and dark pasts and Diana was the glue that held us together, the was the purest of us all and we wanted to keep it like that. Her family had some problems but not like ours, her life had been quite normal and that's what kept our thoughts straight, her.

"Ya I get it but we can't protect her from everything. We can't help who she falls for, we can only beat the shit out of whoever dumps her." I say as reassuring I can.

"Yea that's for sure. I mean wasn't Daniil there when we kicked Julian's ass and broke his babymaker?" Destiny replies.

"Yea he was there and he looked quite frightened for Julian." I continue," so he knows what happens when someone hurts her."

Julian was in our year too. Diana had liked him for 2 years and was in love with him when they hadn't even gone out. He was a football player and was well known around school. He was chill, until he found out about her huge crush on him. The douchebag decided to lead her on before he had humiliated her in front of the whole sophomore year saying that he would never go out with her. she had watched marathons of TMNT and The Notebook over and over while eating multiple tubs of icecream; that lasted about two weeks before she finally got over him and fell for Daniil.

"I guess but maybe she actually found the one." She says in response.

"Hopefully." I reply.

The porch light flickers on, signaling someone's arrival. We expect Diana to just walk in but instead she stays out there for a while. Destiny and I being very nosy attempted to hear through the door but it was impossible so I just quit.

-present time-

We were about to just sleep on the couches but were interrupted by Diana's voice in the dark.

"You guys packed?" She asks us.

"Ya what about you?" Destiny replies.

"I haven't started but don't worry I don't have a lot of clothes anyway." I reply.

"We have to go get you more clothes then don't we?" They say simultaneously.

"Alright I guess." I say happily.

We are leaving in 3 days, Febuary 25. And I can't wait.
