***JEROME'S POV***

We all greet our familiar sorcerer friend with hugs, laughs, and handshakes, but we know that Seto has come back for a reason. An important reason. If you ask Ashley, an Armageddon kind of reason. There isn't a lot of time for formalities, and Seto knows that, too.

We all stand in a line and Seto comes over and hugs all of us one by one.

"How's my favorite Bacca?" He asks me when he reaches me.

"Fine, I guess." I say, avoiding eye contact. I'm second-guessing myself again. Will I ever have the courage to ask him?

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Dude, come on. It doesn't take a sorcerer to know that you're out of it."

I shake my head slowly in response, refusing to look Seto in the eyes.

"Do you want me to do something for you?" He asks quietly. "What is it you want?"

"Y-Yes."

"Okay, what is it? Any spell, I'll do it. My magical energy has been replenished, so I can do whatever."

"Really?"

"Yep."

"Okay."

I tell Seto my request and watch as shock falls over his face.

"You're sure? You're one hundred percent positive this is what you want?"

"Yes."

"Okay. We'll be right back, guys." Seto says to the others. "NightShroud, do you have a place we can go?"

Yes. He says in our minds. To the left.

Seto and I walk through the tunnel to the left, and I make sure I want this to happen. Something tells me this spell isn't reversible. I know this is what I want, but what will my friends think? What will it do to my reputation?

I 'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I think. This is what I want.

Seto stops abruptly and I bump into him.

"Woah, calm down there." He jokes.

"Sorry." I say quickly, putting my head down.

"You sure you want to do this?"

"Y-Yes. I'm sure."

"Positive? It's not reversible, there's no going back."

"I know. Do it."

"Okay. You're going to feel a bit of a pinch, like, everywhere."

He puts his hands up and casts a spell.

***TY'S POV***

Seto appears from the hallway with a strange person I've never seen before.

This new person has a business suit on, as well as a red tie and a weird brown hat. He has dark brown eyes and blonde hair. His nose is kind of large. He looks oddly familiar.

"Hi guys." He says. His voice is still the same as it was before. I can't believe this.

"J-Jerome?" Asks Mitch, visibly shocked by Jerome's human appearance.

"Hey."

"What the-"

But then Mitch gets cut off by Jerome tackling him in a hug. I notice his hat looks like a Bacca-like teddy bear. It's adorable, but strange. I've known Jerome my whole life and I've never thought he wasn't happy being a Bacca. It's weird to think about. But if it makes him happy, then so be it. Let him do what he's got to do to be happy.

"Okay, get off me." Mitch says, laughing.

"Sorry." Jerome says almost immediately, getting off of Mitch and looking at the ground.

"It's fine, I'm just messing around. Chill out, Jerome."

After that short exchange, we all gather around Seto, waiting to hear his explanation of our task.

"I've got a lot of stuff to tell you."
